yes walmart sells the t-8 version for $10.99 us. and the sunshine bulbs you can get are great for vegging. i use them for seedlings, and into vegging so as to not overheat them. they dont get hot at all you can get the bulbs within a couple inches. great cheap lights, gotta love walmart. evil as...

yeah for sure, where im at the summer is to hot indoors unless you run room air conditioners. we have a climate very similar to portland ore without all the rain. and it gets colder, but summers are perfect for outdooor, so no complaints

with that set up you should do well. you probably wont have to worry about your plants getting to big,but we can all hope. you may have to downsize, i am running 1 400w hps, and its just enough for my 6 plants and there pretty close together. anyway maybe try 4-5 to start and get those lights...

i just fallowed what duluthdankmaster said and tied the tops to a string and angled it so it would essentiall start to give the plant scoliosis as it grows more. so far its working we will see and i will post results with pics.
