lighting.. hmm spend the money and go 400w hps air cooled, you will be extreamly satisfied, because with it being aircooled you can cut the distanse down some. and the ph plays a heavy factor a simple ph test kit costs 7$

i live by it, do yourself a favor, goto homedeopt and get a corrosponding inductor fan- around 30-40$ attach the fan sucking the heat to an external. bammmm a good -15 degree. ohh almost forgot you can keep your lights much much closer because your running cooler and you get some dank ass dense buds

for flower i use n:vision the 120w eqv. flood, soft white. 2 of those seem to do the trick.

for veg i use 2 100w 6500k sylvania daylight bulb. it seems to work much better for veg then the n:vision cfl.

im workin in a very small area an clip leaves half way to get light to lower buds[each plant has about 6 kolas on them]. i was just clipping random full leaves an it was severly effecting the size of flowers, but with half cuts it seams to grow the same.

oh btw here is a pic from when i first turn on lights maybe 15 minute after. by the time it turns off they usually grow about 1-2 inch.
