experiments ongoing:
1-Full bore hermie-test the effect so fmale flower knockdown, prevention of new male flowers, prevention of seeding-not looking good-ongoing
2-Clone of Full bore hermie-sprayed day 1 of flower and day 10-waiting
3-Jumbo known to spit out male balls-sprayed day 3 of...
need age, clone or seed, growing medium, pics would be nice, what type of nutes u have.
yes ph'ing very impt- and most use about half of what reccomended doses are and half that if never had nutes yet
the most imp thing to look for is male sacs developing during the the 2nd-3rd week of flowering-they appear where a pistillate caylz should be (female flower).
man these are all deficiences or lockout-flushing will worsen the problems. unless u follow up with nutes. those last pics are not nute burn-could be deficienct if u r using 1/16 but more likely waterlogged roots not being able to uptake the available nutes
I would def go with the Hanna over the drops. The drop color chart is so vague u will have a hard time telling 4.oo from 6.00 and u need to be in 5.4-5.8 range.
Well worth the $$.
U buy the Hanna meter. u buy the calibration solution. they go together.
the two links go together
cool. here is a link Panhead started on Dutch Master Reverse and hermies. is alot to read through bu tmay be worth ur time. My testin gis towards the end of the thread

ans this seller sells the buffers as well- may as well get the probe and the solutions:

this is the one I have used in the past before upgrading. never had an issue with it.
make sure it comes with 7.01 calibration fluid so u can calibrate it...
