I'd say topping depends on the strain. sativas work better for topping under a scrog since they grow much faster. sativas just work better under scrogs in general. heavy indicas have slower growth and are harder to weave through the screen with its thick main stem

I always thought soil grows had a superior taste to their flowers. maybe because that's what I only smoked for the first half of my smoking life, but I can appreciate that plants grow faster in hydro setups too. why do you choose soil over hydro TLD?

you really do need the veg spectrum in there to help photosynthesize. plants absorb the different spectrums and use them differently. I tried vegging my plants with 2700k's until I got my veg bulbs in the mail. and when I did this, my leaves started to lose their lush greenness and that's due to...

that'll be a nice couple weeks when you're harvesting every 2 weeks. well guess it depends on the strain but those will all be heavy harvests. really like that stadium style setup too. it'll be interesting to see the difference with the 3 600w's instead of the thous
