lol wait wait, you veg under your hps?? is it just a blue spec bulb or what? and I like that sog method you use. how do you water all those? and that sounds like some weight at 20-40 g's per plant and 30 plants! :weed: just might have to do a sog in mine now. guess thats probably the best way...

you definitely can use cfl's through a full grow but you have to make sure you have the right spectrums for each cycle. 5000-6500k blue spec for vegging and then 2700-3000k red spec for flowering. if you can get maybe 4 or 5 of each bulb you can definitely get some bud. won't be the biggest nugs...

600's are where its at! whats the dimensions of your space? and what do you veg with?

I got my T5 a couple weeks ago after vegging my plants with cfls and I was actually planning on flowering with the T5 just like you, and Phillips makes the 3000k warm spectrum bulbs, so I picked up 3 of those bulbs. but after more thought, I decided to just go and get a 600w Hps for flowering...

I have a T5 that I use for vegging and yea the 600w is going to be used for my flowering area. going to make it perpetual after the first run I think. might as well right :eyesmoke:

lol that light isn't my 600w. that was just a clamp light with a Y splitter and two cfl's. my 600's not in there yet

So I'm working with an XtraSun Hood with a Global Green House 120/240v convertible digital ballast and a Agrosun 600w Hps. Still waiting on the ballast to arrive. Supposed to come tomorrow or friday at the latest they said.. I'm doing this in the corner of the kinda basement/storage area...
