Mine droop, if I don't water them in heavily enough. are they in rock wool, if so, If the dirt is drier than the the rock wool it will suck the moisture into the dirt, causing droop. check the moisture in the soil. I'm betting if you really water them in, they will perk up rather quickly.

Solar panels, with a pump on timers? I've seen some neet little panels for camping, can power a tv, should handle a pump. 100 yards may be pushing it, though.
