Yes, you can use soil A&B in promix. Be sure to add dolomitic lime to the promix. It tends to turn acidic over time. Aqua Flakes is for hydro. Sent from Northern Colorado.

I use about 2/3 of a cup of dolomitic lime per 5 gallon pot of Sunshine #4, which a peat media. But mine is Sunshine only no other stuff so I don't know if that effects the ratio. As far as mixing goes, yup, a tarp on the garage floor. Sent from Northern Colorado.
