ISO ethanol wash is much easier. I suggest doing it in a deepfreeze with dry ice. Only thing is it comes out green. It extracts all the chlorophyll! Me and many of my peeps love it. I call it Hippie Hash! It's the original extraction method made well known by Rick Simpson back in the hippie days.

I've never used propane. I always prefreeze in the deepfreeze on high. Not sure if it gets that cold though. Would that require dry ice?

I like to use a larger piece of parchment. Fold all the sides 3-4 times, and staple them tight. I believe that it traps the steam inside. Also allows less evaporation loss of yield.

So even winterizing with Dry Ice and a 2-5 micron glass filter wouldn't help? I gotta believe it would in some way, just a lil?! I so wanna go forward with the test, but running out of space. I only gooed it at about 125. Anyone barely gooed, but revived?!

The benefit of winterizing rosin compared to just subzero ethanol refinement, is the color. Rosin removes very little chlorophyll (color). So after winterization, you'll get a more stable, higher percentaged THC, and still have the golden color. Same as BHO, which removes little chlorophyll...

Volcano is by far the best vape machine ever made! The O.G. and R pens are affordable and work well for concentrates only though.
