i dont know about the weighing method, prob wont be as good as using your eyes and feeling it. So if its crispy on the outside.......and the Stem snaps instead of bends, then it is ready for the jar. You can also check the jar frequently to see if it seems to moist and take it out if it is.

looks like they got a few weeks left. you could keep nutes going for another week if you want. Seems like all the pistils are white still. Also, dont judge it by the hairs. Get a jewelers loup 30X, and look up how to tell by the resin glands. They need to be cloudy, or turning amber in color...

What are some methods of warming up the grow space. I am limited on space. I have a 4X4 spot and the insulation is poor due to the spot it is in. It is very effected by outside temps, so this winter my room got to 55c commonly at night. Way to cold i know, and the end harvest this month showed...

2 feet away doesn't seem that bad to me. I grow in coco, and i keep it fluffy. I think you got your answer on that so no need to harp, keep your soil loose and fluffy. How many plants are you packing in the 4X4 space? And what total yield did you get? It seems like something more is going on...

i dont know those volksgardens, but would that be inside another room? IF people set up in the basement compared to the attic, they are going to have different temps regardless of the lights they use. Plus if you live in Canada, or Hawaii, big difference in temps unles you have a very controlled...

I cant tell you in degrees, it really depends on your set up, venting situation etc. Is the hood vented? I run a 600w, and the temp outside effects the room more than the lamp itself.

if u are gonna vent well, get the 1000w. I use a 600w in the same space and have some temp issues (too low). The lamp doesn't exactly heat up the room, and 1000w would be hot right under the lamp and prob burn stuff. 1000w will get you more, but vent the hood, and have good air flow if you chose...

can fan makes some small carbon filters. It depends on the size of the room, not how many plants. Give us more info if you want more specific answers.
