Thank you for taking the time to explain. So I just put the pots on top of a bucket and run water through until good run off and repeat 2-3 times? I guess I should do that in on sitting as to not overwater the plants?
(EDIT: I think I didn't see the flags as I was looking for very green leaves with yellowing tips for poisoning...) Is there a way to get somewhere normal?
I get that flushing is kind of a controversial subject... I added as top dressing nutes 1 time 75% of the recommended strenght after 1 month or so as said on the fertilizers indications. I do my watering without nutes, about every 5-6 days or so (when the soil hygrometer is getting in the dry...
The problem is that I use dry ferts which cannot be diluted very well (I tried and it was a shitshow...)
A lower comment stated that the original soil without nutes was plenty to carry the plant a long time, that's what I was initially thinking. In the end, I added the full dose, but maybe the...
Hi guys,
I've tried and tried different things and my plants just won't grow as well as expected... I've done A LOT of research before starting my grow and was very confident of getting something decent, but right now, I'm kind of baffled......
Earlier problem(s) and adjustments
at ~4th node...
Yes, I think that these are the branches that will become the new cola sites. I got this 1 plant, same strain as the 2 others, that has very developped auxiliary shoots on the 1st node and a little on the 2nd node. You can compare in the 2 pictures, one has very small aux shoots while the other...
Oh, I never thought about that! So this would kind of "delete" the 1st true node? And when I transplant into the 3ga pots, I bury the stem so the plant builds more roots?
Should I remove the leaves AND the suckers (pinching of everything at the stem)? Also, how do you explain why the suckers...
Hi guys, I know the technique is pretty straight forward and I know where to cut (or do I? See red marks on the attached pictures. My understanding was to cut above the 2nd real node, without counting the one with the cotyledons).
The problem I'm facing is that my plants had a pretty hard time...
Just a short update to close this subject. The plants loved the transplant and are feeling very good right now. The yellow leaves are dying off, they did not recover. I guess it was size of the container that was the issue here! Thank you all for the help!
Day of the transplant
After 3 days...
I transplanted them from solo cups yesterday.

Haha no, not 30% of the whole soil XD What I meant was 30% of the recommended full dose. But maybe even that could be too much for the seedlings...
For my next grow I will probably use self made mini fabric bags and grow the plants longer in them. This way, I will be sure they won't be rootbound! Maybe I'll have a look at cow pots as well!
Yeah, this seems plausible also! I thought underfeeding seedlings was pretty tough and my soil mix...
Hi guys,
I'm at day 17 and my plant shows a problem I cannot figure out (yellowing leaves, white spots, leaves pointing down)... I transplanted yesterday, but the yellow bottom leaves were already there and they were also already pointing down. The white spots just appeared I think. Here's my...
I guess the advantage of the fabric pots would be no light coming through. But I really haven't thought about making holes on the sides as well. It's very interesting. I think I will fabricate little seedling pots using old t-shirts for my next grow. I don't mind watering more often to keep the...
It's totally ok for me. So what you mean is to put aeration holes all over the solo cups until top 2"?
This is a real good idea, will try this for my next grow! Is there an easy way to check when they are ready to transplant (like, when the roots are popping out of the pot?)
Yeah I put some...
Thanks for the answer! Is there something I did wrong to explain I should transplant after 7 days? Why is it that I'm ready to transplant after 1 week when mostly people transplant at 2-3 weeks with plants much taller and more developped (few pair of leaves)? My plant seems to grow very large...
