Just pressed my own for the first time. Built myself a budget press with a bottle jack and cheap plates and smashed some of the Orkle i harvested a few weeks ago. The flower is outstanding but the rosin is pure fire. Just thought I'd share the love. bongsmilie
Cola from the plant i just harvested a few weeks ago. Weighed 22g dried. Grown under 135w of QB. Plant was topped for 4 mains and yeilded a total of a bit over 4 zips. I know its not a large grow, but i figured it certainly dispells the led/tiny bud theory. *edit* Sorry, i read my logs...
I'm just happy that there are still people with vocabularies that extend beyond what is needed to read the back of the cereal box and scream at walmart employees. Intellectual self improvement seems to frowned upon these days.
Thanks. I fix electronics for a living. Learned a bit of c++ and java scritping just for the hell of it when i was younger, but definitely not a programmer.
Yup, there are lots of noobs on all sides of all debates throwing around bad advice on the interwebz. Its pretty much a given at this point.
But there are also a lot of very experienced and knowledgeable people on all sides of all debates that get ignored because people like to pick teams and...
I just fisnished a plant under the 135w HLG QB and i started at 24" during seedling/early veg and by the end of flower i had it down to 12" with no issues.
Overheating in a tent can happen regardless of light type. If the air that is being pulled into the tent isn't cool enough to offset the heat being produced inside the tent then no amount of extraction is going to help.
In regards to the led vs hps aspect of your post, i am not touching that...
12 to 18 is conservative. The plant i harvested a couple weeks ago was grown under a 135w QB kit from HLG and my colas were 22" to 26" and rock solid top to bottom.
Running a 288 with the driver at max will produce a decent amount of heat, but most of it is coming off of the driver so as long as you have your extraction port at the top of the space a good deal of it will be vented before it has a chance to affect your canopy temps very much. Also, due to...
I posted a number of pics of the grow and harvest including several in this very thread. If, however, you are asking for photos of the scale display when I weighed it all then no, I don't. I wasn't in a competition and I hadn't set out to hit any certain goals so I didn't document the moment. I...
Final weight is in for my first QB grow. Total weight was 173 grams. Thats 1.28 gpw with less than 4 weeks of veg and minimal training. I'm very pleased and excited to see what I can do with this light once I get everything dialed in.
