No pics of the mutant yet, but I thought I'd share a pic of the keeper.. She is a little droopy as she was just watered before this was taken, but look at how fat those leaves are! Loves me some chubby indica leaves.
I prefer the recirculating aspect if the waterfarms over standard DWC. Better oxygenation of the root zone and I was able to get better results using less nutes. I'm am a noob at hydro though. I have 3 hydro grows under my belt but I started growing in soil over 20 years ago and I'm so much...
I'll also be posting pics of the seedling that did not get selected before I cull her. She has some interesting mutations. If I had more room I might grow her out just to see what happens.
I got this from the interwebz about that product..
"Lightly amended with a starter charge of organic fertilizers like bat guano, worm castings and kelp, this mix is designed for heavy feeding and high performance in container or hydroponic applications."
So your product does contain a light...
Again, I'd need to know exactly what the soil-less mix is to give any advice. Typically when I transplant I fill the pot, make a hole for the plant in the middle, once the plant is in and the root ball has been covered I water as normal. Some mediums do require soaking or flushing before use...
I'm currently using a similar setup (hot soil on the bottom, roots organic on top) except I did my own composting and amending. Assuming that the Kind Soil is well made it should literally be as easy as watering when needed.
New plants need very little nutrients so whether you feed them while...
Damn. I never get tired of how fast these plants grow when they are young. Transplanted to 1 gallon pot today. She didn't even seem to notice so I'll call it a sucess. Next stop will be her final home in a 5 gallon smart pot.
I didn't break anything. I'm a service tech so I'm good at taking things apart. Totally ready to reassemble if I want. Just needs a driver replaced. It's the osram.
@see4 I have an old CLW Solar Storm 440 that I recently retired. Not sure if you're familiar with that light but it is a blurple panel released a few years ago (one of the few blurples built that are worth a shit in my opinion) that had two t8 UV bulbs built in for use during flowering. I...
All good advice so far. I don't even worry about what week of flower I'm in because I strictly judge harvest time by the readiness of the plants. If you grow the same strain many times and your environment is dialed in and stable you will start to be able to predict finish time fairly...
