27% is pretty low. You can get away with lower rH if you run your temps on the cool side, but your best bet is to get that rH up. Get yourself a humidifier.
Aquariums are also a good way to deflect suspicion in regards to fan noise, pump noise etc... also a good excuse for having pH meters and bottles of chemicals laying around.. :)
When I did rDWC I just always had an extra bucket just like the one the plant was in so it was just A matter of lifting the net pot out of one bucket and into another. Except when the plant and it's roots get huge.. Then it's damn near impossible. Or when I'm scrogging.... also makes it damn...
This is totally true and I had never really thought of that before. Of course it only scales up so far. Veg for too long and you end up with a plant that is bigger than your light/s can adequately flower. So while I'd argue there probably is an upward limit to what you can produce under a...
I got damn close to 1 gpw with a blurple once. I was pretty proud of myself. Never gone much over 1.4 with my hps. Best I've ever personally witnessed with my own eyes was right around 2 gpw.
If money is no object that should be damn near the last thing you buy. If your pockets are deep you should use high quality supplemental lighting like the strips that were recommended by krazy. Or try out some high quality COB least. Vipar is poor quality, mediocre efficiency, and good luck...
That's mostly to see how the climate controls handle ambient temp and rH fluctuations. You're correct though, for most people that is overkill. Anytime I make major changes to my space I run it for 2 days and track everything.
I said baseline. Obviously transpiration is going effect things, as is the mass the plants occupy, as well as the shade created etc etc... I'm talking baseline. I can't count the number of times I've seen somebody throw a plant in an untested set up and then want to know why it's 100 degrees...
I made the unforgivable error of laziness. I glanced at the link, saw fungicide and made assumptions without reading. What he is saying is spot on. Same stuff, just highly concentrated.
Couple weeks at least. Better pics would help. First thing to do is take some photos under natural light. HPS and blurples make it damn near impossible to see much of anything clearly. Second, some macros of the trichomes would be very helpful.
Rule #1 for growing indoors is controlling your environment to the best of your ability. That goes for temperature, relative humidity, proper exchange of air in and out your grow space and movement of air over your plants to prevent moisture build up and to strengthen the plant. I have made many...
Who have you tried to order from? I lived in a non-legal state for years when I first started growing and I was almost always able to get them delivered to me.
Growing medium most definitely changes the optimal pH range when growing cannabis. If you run a DWC grow at the pH levels that are typical for a soil grow you will have problems. I'd be careful handing out advice in regards to processes you have little to no experience with. It's a good way to...
