I am wondering the benefit of flowering with a balanced spectrum vs. a more Red spectrum? I have two LED lights, one purple and one magenta. I will be adding two more. Should I add another purple and red for an evenly balanced spectrum. Or would I benefit more from adding two more magenta...

I would trade both red and blue wide angle H150's for a H350.

Anyone using H380? How is the performance?

My last grow stayed nice and healthy green right through flush. 8 weeks flower, 2 more flushing with plain water, still green everywhere at harvest. Strain was blue mystic, in happy frog and perlite. Great bud, no fading ever though.

I usually have hairs start to turn color during flowering. Far before harvest and curing. When the hairs start to change color, I start looking at ttichomes to decide the right time to harvest.

Used it in three grows. Seems to work. Just bought a small 250ml.

I place seed straight in soil and water in also. I also use a small window seal heat mat to keep the cup warm. Then once it spouts I remove heat mat and get a cfl on it.

Dont count on 8 weeks. I find most indicas always end up mature more like 9-10. Early harvested my first grow at 8 weeks, never again.

My favorite strain was dutch passion bluberry. A good 10 weeks to flower, but well worth it....yum.

Kessil sure does grow nice big sweet tomatoes. I have two trees bursting with cherry and regular size. Incidentally Kessil also does great Blue Mystic. Im off to remedicate now

Congrats. Agreed you wont have the yield of hps. But you'll get quality smome with a much nicer bill, and the best part is say goodbye to heat. Extra calmag is needed growing led. I also run mostly organic nutrients, it seems to work well.

Yup, Ive had it happen 8-10" from led light. I caught it fast, but a couple of cola tops were bleached:fire: Buds seemed to smoke ok though:eyesmoke: I try measure height during flower stretch, in order to keep led's at 12" over tops:weed:.

I like to work my way up to watering with a gallon and a half to two gallons. I use soil with perlite as well. I like to water with more water later in flower, for ample runoff, and salt flushing.

Yes I do all soil grows. So far the AN stuff Ive used performs well in dirt.

I like to veg them short and bushy 30-35 days My space is a Gorilla tent 2x2.5x7 1000 watts total light
