I've browsed a lot of threads in the "Harvesting and Curing" section, and one issue that
I have seen brought up a plethora of times, yet not a substantiated answer is freshly harvested bud that has an undesireable smell (hay, wet grass, etc).
So any of the experts out there that might want...
The first two look ready judging by the recession of the pistils....but you can err on the side of caution and let'em go another week or so. Ultimately, it's up to you...your babies.
Orange peels won't do anything but put more moisture in the bud. Which is in fact what you might want to do....it sounds like you need a longer cure. The cholorphyl in the plant is still there. With the added moisture, you can cure longer without your buds getting too crispy dry.
I'm not too exact on this but depending on the strain, the normal dank should return....what you are smelling right now is the release of chlorophyl or something of that sort. Feel free to seek the advice of somebody else just in case.
Do you have a local hydroponics store? I personally haven't used anything except FoxFarms trio lineup....Try to get some ferts that indicate specifically "Bloom, flowering, etc". Look at the 3 number sequence and make sure the middle number is the highest. Don't go for the time release...
Normally in flowering, you don't want to feed with nutes that have more Nitrogen (N or the first number in the 3 number sequence (N-P-K)). The nutes you are using have more N. You need more P.
Wish I had an accurate answer for you, bro. I don't think it would mess up anything too bad. I know growers that turn off their lights for 48 hours prior to harvest....so I GUESS your plants would be alright. Cannabis is really resillient anyways.
Shoreline is some of the best I've had the privilege of smoking. I don't know the genetics of it, but the way it has put me to sleep it definitely must be an Indica.
The Big Bloom is more organic unlike the other two (Grow Big & Tiger Bloom) out of the trio but I still use it every other. Tiger Bloom caused bad nute burn with me though.
Master Kush (oldest plant) 10 days flowering, approximately 15.5" tall, and showing sex (female). Lookin' pretty damn bushy....must be Z-ro and all the country rap tunes playin lol. I really think my plant really likes listenin to my screw tapes.
