Correct. if the water is just sprayed on the soil then the roots won't just shoot straight to the bottom :-) However, since you said it's gonna be an outdoor grow, my advice was pretty much just pointless unless you can start them inside lol. sorry, i tried :-):leaf:

Well if you spray the water onto the soil instead of just pouring it in, you shouldn't have that problem until they're over a foot tall... I'd say once they're about a foot and a half you should transplant them.
