    Would this stunt growth?

We actually just planted them yesterday! So.... yeah..... We didn't think of this until today haha. Hrmm.... Do you think that the bottle thing would be a good idea, as in terms of root growth? I don't we'll have to worry about too many bugs. It is a screened in balcony, and we currently have...

    Would this stunt growth?

I am starting a new grow with 6 plants. The problem is, I currently have a grow going on with 2 plants, which are currently flowering, and they are using the only space/indoor light source that I can use, which is upstairs in our finished attic. So I can't put these seedlings on a 12/12 light...

    Questions:20 days old(pics)

I wouldn't recommend chopping off any leaves, especially one that is only 20 days old. Only chop off leaves if the plant is in vegging, and only if the leaf is +50% damaged. Also, you can always go 18/6, some people prefer to do this from the start. There is little difference to the plant...

    Ventilation Q

I currently am growing a couple plants right now in my finished attic. There is an air conditioner in the window, making the air outside cold air, in the same room that my grow is in, to control the temp. Without this A/C it would be ridiculously hot up there, the A/C keeps the temp just right...

Its getting worse---SHIT!!! yellow and drooping,PICTURES

fox farm is a great brand to use for nutes. I basically use the entire fox farm fert line, and it's usually at different stages/weeks in the plants life (Big Bloom, Grow Big, Tiger Bloom, and then for really great results get their line of Open Sesame, Beastie Bloomz, & Cha Ching).

    Super thrive?!?

I was looking into that BMO Organic Tonic on ebay, I am thinking of investing in it. But would I just add that to my regular nutes, or should you just use it by itself? It doesn't really say on their ebay auction.

    Flowering time.

Hey. This may sound dumb, but on seed sites and stuff, where it says that the flowering time = 50-60 days, is that from the time that the plants start to actually grow (seedling), or is that just from when you go 12/12? Thanks!

    Fox Farm Tiger Bloom

Hey thanks a lot. That is very in-depth. Do you think that my plant will get better if I follow that schedule? It is about a week into 12/12, and it looks like it has some kind of def. I wasn't using the nutes right, and was feeding her waaaaay to little of N (the only fert I was using was big...

    Fox Farm Tiger Bloom

Should I use GrowBig during the flowering stage aswell? My plant is looking a little scrawney, and I'm sure that it has some sort of def (thinking that it may be zinc). But I didn't really catch it in time (this is my first grow), and it is going into its flowering stage. Can I still give it...

    Fox Farm Tiger Bloom

Hey, I was wondering if it is okay to use fox farm tiger bloom before flowering? It says to use during flowering, but it has alot of micronutes in it, so I was wondering if it is okay to use before the plant starts to flower.

    EarthBox Nutes

Hey thanks for the info. Well I am currently on my first grow, without an earthbox. I was thinking of doing a soilless grow for the next grow in my earthbox. Is that okay to do? I was thinking of some perlite, vermiculite, and cococoir. Do you have any suggestions about doing this? Can you do a...

    Raising Ph

To check your soil ph you will need to get one of "those ph tester gizmos". You can get a combo tester that is a soil moisture, darkness, and ph tester all in one for a pretty good price. Check ebay, thats where I got mine.

    EarthBox Nutes

Hey thanks. But I was wondering about how should I add nutes to it. I heard that you shouldnt put the nutes directly into the resevoir. Is this true? & if so, how should i add them? I am doing everything organic aswell, I have a Super Tea Mix, which is a powder, and I have Fox Farm Big Bloom...

Noob to Farming any Info will help thx !!

It's a little late in the season to start outdoors, but that also depends on where you live. If you live in a very hot/sunny area, then it should be fine, you just won't get the total yield that you would normally get if you planted a month ago. Where I live, the rule of thumb for any plant is...

Noob to Farming any Info will help thx !!

It's probably either 1 or 2 problems. The old soil probably has no more nutrients left in it so the roots have nothing to feed from. Also the soil is probably pretty 'compact' from the previous plant, so no air is getting to the roots. I would suggest repotting the plant into some fresh potting...

    EarthBox Nutes

Hi, I just got an EarthBox, and I was wondering how do I fert it? I read a thread on here that states to not put it directly into the resevoir, so how should I do it? I have FireFox Big Bloom and a Super Tea Organic Fert's. Should I mix them with water and just pour them on the top of the soil...

How do I apply sawdust to my soil?!

in the GrowFAQ on this site it states "If your soil needs to be more acidic, sawdust, composted leaves, wood chips, cottonseed meal, leaf mold and especially peat moss, will lower the soil pH."

How do I apply sawdust to my soil?!

The ph in my soil is kind of high (7.5-8.0). I wanted to add sawdust to my soil to bring it down, but I was just wondering how much sawdust should I use, and also how would i apply the sawdust to the soil? Should I just put it on top of the soil or what? Thanks!
