I live in a pretty cold inviroment...and i have no problems keeping my temps up. If it gets that cold...put a little space heater near the room and let the warm air makes your babies happy. Letting your plants drop too much in temp can cause it to stunt in growth.
Mke sure you get the right kind...i can't remember what it is...there's 2 styles of molasses, and you need the one kind...wish i could remember...sorry!
Well your doing somrthing right then...lol.
The benefit i see is that my plants at flowering go immediatly into flowering...at week 1 of flowering i can see a heavy production of trichs. There are benefits to both methods...i just prefer this one.
Steralizing your own soil is risky...unless you have the proper tools...it smells bad, and you risk not sterelizing fully. Lots of people do it don't get me wrong...i just personally wouldn't. I buy some local soil that i know is good to use, use to work at the plant so i know the system they...
Longer light cycles makes the plant take longer to sex. I use the 16/8 method as well and have had great success! Most my plants show sex by week 6 of growth.
Just use the HPS. More watts=more lumens, plants love lumens.
I wouldn't worry about turning it hermie...you really gotta stress the plant severely for it to do that, unless it's a very intolerant plant. I try to give my plants some stress to encourage stronger growth...if i get any hermies...
4 plants isn't going to generate that much smell...however i have a strain right now that is just 1 plant and she STINKS!!! Since my closet is in my bedroom it is easy to contain the smell by simply opening the windows and placing a fan blowing outwards in one of the windows. The rest of the...
I'm sorry but i do not understand what you are trying to say, clambake?
Having just 4 plants in a sealed room doesn't make too much sense to me...i grow up to 10 plants in a small closet that always has fresh air since the closet door stays open, and they do perfectly fine.
Plants breath in...
Yes...unless you want everyone to smell you grow room...if it's a large one.
Next time please start your own trhread...hi-jacking someone elses for your question's is kinda rude.
Ya i wouldn't be too woried about it. Co2 tanks are only beneficial to growers that grow in sealed rooms with many plants. You just spending 10-15min a day talking to them will provide them with enough Co2 to stay really happy!
That's perfectly fine...you might wanna try to bump up the temp at night a lil more if you can...the ideal range to be in is 15 degrees. So if your day temp is 75F, 60F would be ok to dip to at night. I wouldn't worry about it though it's not gonna do any damage...some people prefer the cooler...
Sometimes the damage won't show for a few weeks, and that's usually because the plant will start to develop salt crystals around the roots and will prevent the roots from properly intaking the food it needs. The best method is to give your plant 1/8-1/4 strength nutes, and the next 1/4-1/2 and...
You said you feed your plant every other day?
That's WAY too much food, your going to over feed. A plant should be fed food when needed, or at least every 3-4 waterings.
They do however look very happy and healthy!
