    6500k Light went out

Better off to go with the 42W ones, they're MUCH more effecient then the 26W.

    Plants droop between watering schedule?

Best bet for a first timer is to get a moisture meter from a store...there cheap, under $10. I use the weight method...when they feel light to pick up it's time to water. Once you water, pick them up and feel the weight and judge that everyday. You want the roots to stretch and search for...

Do you have to go close with lights for seedlings?

Starting seedliings with flouro's is best...most growers have a setup that has multiple rows of lights for the seedlings to be under for the first 1-2 weeks. Don't put that 400W anywhere near them for the first few weeks.

    Plants droop between watering schedule?

    Sometimes it's from that yes.

    Plants droop between watering schedule?

No need for worries. It's normal for plants to droop after you water them, and during it's growing phase. If you look at a time lapse video you'll see the plant droop and then raise up and then droop and so on and so on.

    6500k Light went out

Plants only need mild light when they first sprout...a little warmth and some window sunlight will be fine for the first few days untill it get's above ground.

    fluorescent lights????

Sounds good. You shouldn't need any fancy fixtures...i just used plywood and screwed on the ballast setups, plugged in the lights and away I went. To raise the lights I bought $1.99 pulley(s) and rigged it up to the hanger bar in my closet. Altogether I spent about $100 on lights and...

    fluorescent lights????

Depending on the size of room and number of plants, it might be better to go with 400W HPS, mearly for the lummen output. Adding the flouro's will help. Under 10 flouro tubes i only grew 6 plants at a time in 2 gallon pots, and got on average 1.5oz a plant dried weight. Adding an HPS i would...

    fluorescent lights????

For small grows the T-12's or T-8's work great...i still use mine as well. Nice looking plants.

    fluorescent lights????

During the flowering cycle, it's best to make sure that your plants recieve 12 hours of UN-INTERUPETED darkness. The streetlight will only make the flowering cycle take a really long time. TRUST me don't listen to these CFL growers...you need too many of them to produce you enough light to...

    fluorescent lights????

Sorry it's 10,000 lummens per sq/m. Having some flouro's for side and or under lighting is a great idea...in fact i've done it many times in past grows, as well as grown all flouro's for all stages. Bottom line is...flouro's used in the right spectrum, will produce some really nice frosty...

    fluorescent lights????

30 plants and flouro's isn't the way to go. Kush is right, you'll need at least 2 1000W ballasts. You need on average 75w per plant, or 10,000 lummens per sq/ft. Using flouro's is reccomended for small closet grows, and in which case you'd want to use workshop lights instead of CFL's, they...

    fluorescent lights????

I'd go with flouro tubes. They will provide much more lighting then CFL's will, also too you can place them against the wall for bank lighting. I used a total of 6 4ft double tube fixtures, 12 lights in total. Here's a pic to give you an idea of what you could do eith 2ft of space. I used 4x2ft...

    Reprocutions Heat + Humidity

I Keep my veg room between 50-60% hummidity, and my flower room no less then 40% and no higher then 50%. You have higher then normal heat...75F is desired as the plants "breathing" is best at that temp, and hummidity range...I don't like to go over 80F, but that doesn't happen very often. With...

    CFL's admiting Harmful Radiation?!???

Only about 20% carry a harmful amount of UV, if in the same area for too long. Seen this just today on Daily Planet on Discovery Channel. This explains why CFL's are actually not bad to use during veg.
