    Oldschool meets newschool!

New space with first firing of 400w hps and the fan/filter combo. Checking for light leaks then I'll start plumbing, then I can shut down the led closet and move those lights in here.

These cobs are killing it, i would have never believed an led could grow like this if i didn't see it for myself. Im excited to get the new cabinet converted to all leds but it will be after this grow coming up. Here are some GSCxOGKx?, I think they still have a week but they're getting close.

The practice run is going great, seedlings can handle 1,000 plus ppm these have been from 1200-1600 over a couple week period. Don't sweat, im using green cups for the competition so there will be no mistakes. I still have a few things to do in the new room before i can germ seeds for the...

    Oldschool meets newschool!

I just finished prepping the new area, i need to make provisions to hang the filter and lights. This will be a mix of oldschool and newschool all the way. Its a 3'x4' tray that i made myself with a 400w hps in the center and two cxa3070s on each end running 50w each. That should give me 12...

It's a mad dash over here to prep the new grow area. I wanted to change over at the end of the month but since we can't change lights, I need to have the new spot up and going by germ time. Game on.

What's an ideal flowering cob set up for 2 feet by 2 feet grow space?

Im using 4x cxa3070's i put together last year on 4x cheap chinese drivers in a 2x2x6 cabinet that are rocking my plants right now. They run slightly over ambient temps being pushed by 1500ma per cob.

    Vero29 or CXB3070?

Heat was bad last summer but im changing locations and it should be a little better this time. I need additional heat in winter when its cold outside. My grow spot has no climate control at this time so i deal with the seasons as they change.

    Vero29 or CXB3070?

Thanks for the info, more to consider. Im not against efficiency but im more concerned with upfront costs right now. That's the main reason i excluded the 3590, maybe my budget will open up to include them by the time i buy.

    Oldschool meets newschool!

The three larger ones are getting close to being ready maybe 2-3 weeks left. There are 4 recent seedlings, one young clone and one older in left rear. I took 20 clones from 4 plants in preparation for the new room that should be done at the end of month. I will add pictures when i get home.

I'm not certified to say, I was just stating what I know about lowrider cars and golf carts from my experience. Please do not take my post as advocating the use of a high amp power supply, I have zero experience with them, I just noted personal experience with high amp battery situations...

Car batteries can easily be 1,000 cranking amps. Hydraulic suspension systems run an average of 8 car batteries in series creating a 96v system with extremely high amperage output. Golf carts generally run 36-48 volts with extremely high amp deep cycle batteries as well. While i have seen both...
