I agree 100%. I think I've cleaned out 98-99% of the algea and changed to distilled water. Almost completely blacked out the vessel except for airline hose suggested by blade, to be black. Thanks much for the input.

Great info, thanks blade. I recently made a "skirt" for my bubbler. There was way too much light passing through the plastic vessel and lid. I also made a "topper" to further reduce light inside the chamber. The black airhose is the shit though. didn't even occur to me. +rep thanks.

I gotta say that there is no reason the let your water sit for two days. Most of the chlorine dissapates (depending on the size/amount) is 1-3 hours. Letting it sit is not necesarrily the way to go? Get a chlorine test kit to prove it. waste of time.
