From your guys experience, do LEDs take longer to veg ur plants to a good size than say MH or CFLs?

well i was just fishing around for ideas, i'm leaning more towards just messing with HPS now though and maybe florescent for vegging.

From what I understand, lumens are the visible light that humans can see but have nothing to do wit plant growth. If lumens were all that mattered how come folks jus don't go out and buy floodlights? although I'm a nooob and cud be comepletely off-base
