You also need to change light schedule to flip to flower. Are you trying to veg and flower at same time? Yes switching to bloom in more intense light for flower. You still need to change schedule from 18/6 Veg to 12/12 Flower

You have 8 sq ft. x 30 = 240 minimum watts for you grow tent. Light I recommended would fit perfectly for coverage and dimmer will provide light when needed where needed.

I promise you that you will be disappointed with less. Buds will be small and larfy. My first light is in a box. I learned my lesson. You asked for advise and I don't think anyone would argue with it.

Just because it says bloom doesn't mean it will cover your area. Here's the math. You want minimum of 30 watts per sq ft. for flower. It is that simple.

Bloom is flower... 42 watts for bloom would work if plant was in Solo Cup ( plastic cup )

100 watts is probably about right for the Vegetive stage. You use these lights 18 hours on 6 hours off. You veg for as long as you want. Plant just gets bigger and bigger as long as it has space in pot and grow room. Then you Flip your plant to Flower by 12 hours lights on and 12 hours light...

Trust me this is well known about light Intensity during different stages of a grow. Veg with only require 100 watts or less. You want 300 watts on them in flower. You really need to read about this before even starting grow.

You can veg under very low Intensity but if you want nice flowers you need more Intensity. Most important thing in grow room is light. 2nd is water.

Growing Cannabis has Four stages of growth. Germination, Seedling, Vegetative and Flower. They all require different light Intensity. That is achieved by height of light over grow and Intensity of light.

For about $20 you buy Watt meter and really know what you're using.

This light is only good for Veg

I disagree about 150 watts needed. for flower you need more. These lights have dimmers you can dim down to 150 watts. If you buy 150 watt light you can't dim up to 300. 200 watts could do the job if your really on a budget. I'm begging you to not go as low as 150. I think you'd be disappointed...

You want something led that draws 300 watts from the wall for nice flowers. Don't go less than 250 LED watts from the wall.
