Wtf is this Myclobutanil increased yeild!?!?

There's nothing to look into; your crop is potentially contaminated, and should be trashed. You don't know how much myclobutanil was in the mix you used, and you can't trust your 'supplier' to tell you. Hopefully the dose was small, but it doesn't really matter; the weed is still contaminated...

Quiet. The Neighbors Can Hear You (Sound Control Thread)

Unfortunately this doesn't work. Egg crates will result in attenuation of some higher frequenies, which can knock down some of the 'snap' or 'sharpness' in a room. This is why it had limited use in the radio / spoken word application. However, egg crate is totally ineffective in reduction beyond...

This is one method I have not tried... I will give it a go, and thanks for the suggestion. A gentle and natural approach is worth trying. I have a heat mat I can use for this.

Thanks, fellows! I knew at the outset there was a chance they were all dead. I am planning to keep going through both lots in hope a few may still be viable. Once I reach the point where there are only a few dozen left, I may consider measures like tissue culture.

Currently taking a break and re assessing after multiple fails. I will keep at this project, but I've also been crushed under work (also in mmj), and that's been keeping me out of the garden. Results to date: CO Group: Group 1: Control 1/15/17 5 seeds Tapwater, paper towel, Notes: no signs...

    hermaphrodite

Fertilizing a different plant with that pollen should also remove that tendency for self fertilized plants to give rise to hermaphrodite offspring, if I understand correctly. Can someone with more knowledge confirm?

In some plants the first photosynthesis occurs in the cotyledon, in other plants it is in the first pair of primary leaves. I'm pretty sure it doesn't happen until you have a leaf of some sort. Not sure which is the case for cannabis. The patch of green you see may be part of the radicle, or it...

    I found it in the first Deno supplement, p.28--- he was popping weed at Penn State in 93'! 'Cannabis (Moraceae). C. saliva seeds 05 about 8 m germ. 90% in 2-4 d in 70D, 70L, or 70 GA-3. Seeds OS 18 m germ. 701)(57% on 4th d) and seeds DS 2 y germ. 700(9% on 6th d) indicating a half-life of...

The Deno pdf is pure gold. This guy's style is very readable, his methods are simple and proven, and his results are conclusive. I can tell you that more than a few bombs will be dropped from this tome. His process for using GA3 is simple and elegant, and I plan to apply it. Here are a few...

I will be using these resources on germination, from the research of Dr. Norman Deno titled 'Seed Germination: Theory and Practice'. The links are too good not to share; the study is comprehensive, involving thousands of species and all kinds of variables. Deno has experimental methods which I...

Found a supplier of GA3 online through Amazon, in the gardening supply section-- 5 grams of 'technical grade' powder. Hopefully it's clean and not too old. Ordered and will be here Tuesday, thank you Optimus Prime! That should give me time to read up and form a plan of attack.

I'm looking at suppliers on ebay, as the local garden shops don't appear to stock it; if anyone has first hand experience with this process, I would love input. I've downloaded a couple of the scholarly pdfs on the process, but of course none of those were done on cannabis seeds. I'm reading...

All ten were sinkers this morning! Now moved into unbleached paper towels inside an open ziplock. The bag is now on a ceramic plate on a heat mat, covered by another plate.

The control group is pretty much this-- just tapwater and brown paper towels. I prefer the paper towels because I can visually inspect the seeds. So far the control has been going almost five days with no signs of life-- though we expect they could take up to a couple of weeks to pop.

I've moved all the content into this thread, so I will probably just delete the old journal entries for clarity's sake and so searches will point to the right thread. Thanks for responding and looking into this!

Yes! This is definitely the plan. I'm really hoping for some consistency with the seeds-- once each batch is grouped by size and appearance, hopefully this will give us some leading predictors as to what seeds are left. I will be sorting the second batch today. I've already begun another test...

I just... holy shit new developments. No, nothing has popped yet, and it's four days. Still waiting on germination. And now a new complication has appeared. After the find of 1K beans from the 80's (yes, 989, whatever, 1K is just easier), we were leaning on my friend to dig up more info on...

Fu** the grey area on extracts

Use of that term is inaccurate; there is no grey area. When a substance is lawful, but police arrest you for possession of it, that is abuse of the law.
