    Jordan of the Island

Ive grown God's Dosi Pie, Black Garlic and God's Prime Glue. The Gods Dosi Pie is a gem. Easy to grow any way you want. Never tried outdoors but I'd be careful of humidity as the buds are quite dense. It's been nicknamed frosted flakes by friends as it's so full of trichs that the buds...

    In House Genetics Thread

Good post. I agree with all of it. Like I said, I'm not gonna bash inhouse because everyone does it now or they get left behind in this arms race. My post is not directed at inhouse but instead the the market as a whole. It's certainly not their fault that consumers all ride the hype wave...

    The myth of Rockwool

It's cold af where Iive so no risk of root rot. The cubes may get slightly warm but the air around ensures they never get too hot. Thermometer for the mat would be necessary in warm climates. Never tried rapid rooters or riot cubes though so maybe I'm missing out. Still, no issues with the...

    In House Genetics Thread

I like what useful seeds does where they give out some packs to test out before officially releasing it. Nothing wrong with chucking if you take the time to test it. Don't have time? Others will gladly do it for you

    In House Genetics Thread

It's not that others can't herm. It's just that in house uses genetics that are know to herm to breed a lot of their gear whereas Bodhi for example has a few cuts that are tested and have no herm traits which he breeds with random other stuff which occasionally can have her traits. The risk of...

    The myth of Rockwool

I use the little cubes to clone and start seeds. Never had issues. The trick is to let them sit in the seed starting tray with a heat mat or in the sun to get rid of some of the moisture. I have a little thing they sit in at the bottom of the tray and I then poor water into the tray just...

    In House Genetics Thread

Good piece of advice. In House has had herm issues in the past. They have some great stuff but I wouldn't exactly call it stable. For new growers I would certainly not recommend inhouse and this is coming from someone who is very happy with his stuff. Bodhi or Joti would be my picks

How much PPM solution !!?? Thanks so much

Those aren't ready yet. I'd say you got another couple weeks left. Once the trichs turn amber you'll see it. General rule is that you want 30 percent or so be amber. This is soil?

    Bulk seeds cheap

Jah Seeds is your best bet. A dollar a reg seed. Pretty good stuff too especially the ISS crossed with ISS x Blue god.

How much PPM solution !!?? Thanks so much

What stage of flowering are you in and what sort of system are you using. Are you using RO? Personally I never go above 1000 ppm even with my heaviest feeders. I typically go: Clones seedlings: 50- 125 ppm Early veg: 150- 250 ppm Mid veg: 400- 500 ppm Late veg/ start of flower: 700-900 ppm...

What is ur Breeder Hall of Fame and shame?!

That sounds pretty nice . Ive got a nice sweet Skunk x bluegod backcrossed with sweet Skunk that could benefit from those sweet tooth traits. It's a great plant with beautiful purple hues and red pistils but the buds are a bit airy and it's tall and leafy. Great out doors but I'd prefer denser...

What is ur Breeder Hall of Fame and shame?!

Ive always wanted to try beanhoarder. Ever try his sweet tooth? And I completely agree with what you say about modern breeders. I want at least one of the parents to be stable. If using polys at least test em to make sure they aren't prone to herming and cross em with a stable plant.

What is ur Breeder Hall of Fame and shame?!

I guess a lot just comes down to luck. I haven't had any luck with gods prime glue from Joti yet some people get this. https://www.instagram.com/p/Bt_4XUgAE4m/?hl=en Went 0 for 10 on TGA Skellington but others got gems. Alpha isn't the most popular guy around here anymore but I've seen...

Joti is extremely underrated. Hard to beat for the price

Expensive seeds vs less expensive seeds

Price doesn't directly correlate with quality. Take seed junky for example. 150 a pack and his stuff is not tested and has a high chance of herming. He has good stuff sometimes but if I'm paying that much for a pack, Im expecting a lot more that that. Ive seen issues with in house as well...
