sorry im high as hell and forgot.... you want to take the stale air out, but you will also want to draw new fresh air in but if you leave the door cracked in your flowering room you shuld get enuff fresh air

make a exhaust fan out of a old dryer, i did it and it works awesome..... just take the fan and motor out of the dryer and reassemble with a few mods and you have a very good fan... the output is around 400-600 CFM large enuff for most grow rooms good luck

ya the noise part is no problem for me... not at my house...(nor is this real, i photoshoped these pics) and it will just about suck the chrome off a chevy!! just in the works of a nice homemade carbon filter... harder then i thought, im trying to do a 3 foot by 6 inch filter out of metal...

i have 2 600watt MH sun masters

its about as loud as it was when in the dryer.. but im sure once i put a filter on it should be just right:)

ok so this is a new room i got, its a borrowed room, it is not the best, but should yeild enuff for a good session tell me what you think

the drum motor and far motor is all in one!!! one end runs the fun and the other is for the belt!! ok well here is the setup i got... it was a maytag dryer, i took out the motor and fan assembly, and this is how i put it together... it may look like crap but it works really good and flows...

does anyone know what the cfm would be from a dryer? i have a nice one here and i might use it for an exhaust fan but i dont know the cfm... but it does look like it is a higher cfm...maybe 500 ish?
