I agree with you to an extent. I think however, you will find that analyzing anything under a microscope will show many flaws (i.e. a razor blade). Just trying to help with some perspective.

I had one that took a bong spill, and having a Vodka and OJ spilled on it. I had to take it apart to clean out the OJ, but I'm typing on it now. It's amazing what some of these things can take. One spill actually turned out to be beneficial, as all my smoke was building up a film of crap...
