    The migro400

Well for that budget you can get whatever you fancy and the Migro setup makes sense in this case . The frame and heatsinks are well built and down the road you can always swap out for the newest, most efficient cobs if you choose or add a couple migro 100s onto it. Not sure exactly where your...

    Led lighting question

Kick ass setups. Both of em. Plants are loving them for sure. I was watching a video on Migros YouTube channel with dr Bruce Bugsbee of apogee and he was doing research on far red and UV. He was making a case for implementing both but it's always nice seeing results from fellow growers .

First time grower - Looking at HLG LEDs

You could look at Atreum and RapidLed too though duty fees and shipping will probably not be worth it unless you're ordering a large amount. The hortibloom systems being posted here are a great value. Alternatively, if you don't mind a little Diy you could source the parts from digikey

What kind of nutrients is everyone using?

Tried em all huh. What's your fave?

    Led lighting question

Yeah it sounds like a killer little board. Nice design. 4 of em would be absolutely perfect in a 3x3. I really like the idea of smaller form factor boards too which is why I ended up with the logic pucks. Super impressed with them. You notice an improvement with the added far red?

    Led lighting question

Nice. 160w each or you have other stuff in there? I know you can run them super hard but do you need active cooling?

What kind of nutrients is everyone using?

Using some stuff from a small company in Quebec called Nutri+ . Really like it and it's so cheap.

    The migro400

Completely unnecessary. Did you end up with the timber. They are great fixtures no doubt but the cobs they use are no longer the most efficient. Other options are rapid led/chilled pucks, QBs, Atreum lighting. These companies offer great diy kits that are very easy to build, well priced and...

    Temperature

It depends on the LEDs. Believe it or not, a high end DE gavita is more efficient than the cheap LEDs like Vipar Spectra. A QB or Spyder on the other hand runs so much cooler that you don't even need active cooling. Their are other things to consider also. Having a cool tube allows you to...

    The migro400

The Migro is a much nicer light than anything timber has and that's not to take a shot at timber. The Migro is using newest gen luminus cobs which are the most efficient on the market. They are even more efficient than QBs depending on how hard you run them. Aside from efficiency, the build...

    3000K or 2700K for bloom?

That's probably a good call. 3000k is just much more versatile.

    Looking at HLG 135w

Rapid led is an option too. They have a Canadian site now. The 2x2 logic puck kit would suit you pretty well

    Electric sky ES 300

It's just never a bad idea to have good circulation around a light like this though. Lower temps increase efficiency but most importantly you run less risk of damaging the diodes. High humidity or some some dust on the diodes could cause em to burn out. Just lost a Vero 29c due to this.

Atreum led strips ARA-20 and ARA-40

Was looking at these but went for logic pucks instead. Just a better deal and I had a spare driver for them already. These are pretty nice though. Pricey but nice.

    BigWormGenetics

Not sure but you could check atreum. They're legit and well priced

    Jordan of the islands

Just finished a run with some joti gear. Prime glue ended up being a runt unfortunately but it should be pretty nice for hash due to the amount of trichs. The Black Garlic was small as well and would have done well had it vegged a little longer. Still, the smell and taste are intense and...

    Buy it or DIY it?

Don't want to derail this or anything but are EB2s and F series still the efficiency kings? Looking to add to my current cob array and build a small veg light. Oh yeah, definitely build it. Save yourself some money

    THE SHIT LIST ......

Nice will check em out. I try to order from Canada though. Was checking out some of the seedbanks from the states and the selection and prices are so much better. It's really tempting.
