    Bagseed & Rubbermaid Grow Box

Hey Spittn, you got any new pics to show? I plan on putting up some new ones once it starts to change hair color. I'd like to see how your buds fill out. Also, how did the trimming of the fan leaves work? My plants look almost identical to yours, especially the fan leaves and buds. I plan on...

Oh yea...just spotted a couple of red hairs here and there...I'm guessing they're just getting older...ah, how cool would it be to have the hairs stay white...doubtful with this midgrade... I wonder if the bud I get will be better or worse than its parents...only time will tell, but I guess I'm...

Well, they're getting closer to what resembles what you smoke. I need to do some more research on harvesting and the final crucial weeks. I'm just not seeing how all these damn hairs turn into juicy buds. I see a little more "bud" i guess but mainly just tons and tons of white hairs. Do the...

Thanks everyone. If anyone is interested I'll continue to post pics every few days in case anyone would like to see. I'm comparing my grow to Spittn4Cash's, he's got a great grow journal, so if anyone out there has some mids under CFL's (broke as a joke method), keep up with his and mine and...

I have 11 23 watt 2700K CFLs, and a 42 watt 2700K CFL. The 42 watt is in a desk lamp and it aimed at the bottom of the plants.

Thanks a lot! They're both about 2 feet tall, so any idea of what kind of harvest range I'm looking at? I'm hoping to get an ounce each at least. I wonder how they'll fill out. I have no idea what to expect, so if anyone how there can give me an idea of what to expect next it would be greatly...

Here's some pics...my first grow, using CFL's on some midgrade bagseed. About 4 weeks flowering.

    Smoking fan leaves...

So, what's the deal on the story on this one. I've heard both sides, but which is it. Can you smoke fan leaves, especially of some midgrade bagseed, and get stoned? At which point in time in the flowering cycle is this safest and most effective? Thanks...also, if so, how do I properly cut the...

    Bagseed & Rubbermaid Grow Box

Nice journal man. My plants are about 3 or 4 days behind yours. Similar set up, midgrade with CFL. Keep up the good work. Looks good. Glad I have something to compare my midgrade to, not to some chronic white widow.

    White hairs/stigmas, what's next...?

I've found probably about 15-20 budsites per plant I have and I see white hairs coming from them. What's the next stage in bud development? When will the buds begin to grow in and form...I'm unsure of what I should expect next...help please..

Pruning fan leaves, need some help

Thanks for the responses, but here's a pretty basic question. How do I go about trimming the leaf? Do I cut it near the main stems, right on the stems near the white hairs, at the end of the stem closest to the leaves? At an angle, apply anything to it, things to watch out for after cutting?

Pruning fan leaves, need some help

I have two plants growing now in a closet 2 weeks into flowering after about 8-9 weeks vegging. Since I have trained it (LST) short, they are rather bushy. I have already identified my bud sites, the stems come straight up and have the white hairs. My problem is the big fan leaves blocking the...

    Thin crispy leaves

Woke up this morning, plants looking like the watering and space and drop in temps did them great. Matter a fact, looks like I may have some preflowers (female) coming up. I see these sets of two pistil like shoots coming out at the bud sites. At first I thought these were leaves, but low and...

    Thin crispy leaves

I've moved the plants a little bit away from the lights just to give them a little break. Along with my wayering and ferting last night and moving them a little bit the leaves have 'lushed' up a little bit.

    Thin crispy leaves

Over the past few days the leaves at the node sites have begun to grow in. They're still fairly small, maybe 1/2 inch, but they're growing due to the LST nonetheless. I expect to have a nice sized bud on that main stem that's horizontal.

    Thin crispy leaves

Oh yeah, got off subject for a second. So does everyone agree the thin dry leaves can be contributed to either genetics or nute lockout? When i got them from outside their leaves were fairly lush but as soon as i bring them in they get paperlike again. i havent added any nutes since bringing...

    Thin crispy leaves

Nah they don't look like that. When I had them outside they grew like crazy and when I brought them in their growth was stunted in comparison. I'm thinking it's just getting too hot in the box. Also maybe poor airation in the soil. Gonna hook it up with some hydrogen peroxide tonight to get some...
