I think I got my CFls too close to the plants. Some of the new leaves are curling inwards a bit, and the older ones are turning yellow and droopy...any recommendations? Advice greatly appreciated!

I'm also doing a CFL grow and it seems my main problem is just finding enough sockets to hook my lights up to? How were ya'll's setup? What did you use to hold up your lights, etc...

So would u say I need to pick up this bulb or not? It's only twenty bucks and if it could produce even half of what a regular HPS would it would be a steal.

I found this bulb on lowe's website. It says it's a 70 watt replacement for a 300 watt bulb. Would this produce HPS-like effects of my grow, or is it some cheap rip off? Also, it says ED-17. Does that mean it will fit in a normal light socket? Does it need a ballast?

Damn, how old is that plant? Looks nice. The thing is with my plant is that when I came back from keeping them on lights continuously, they looked like they have a crazy growth spurt. I'm not sure if it was the l lights, the homemade CO2 I just put in, or the nutes I just started at 1/4 strength.

I left town for the weekend and I forgotten to set the timer for the lights to my babies. They had approx. 60 hours of continuous light. They're about 3 weeks into vegging and I had them on a 18/6 schedule. Will this change in cycle greatly affect the plant? Ex., cause too much stress in turn...

Check out the new pic...instead of doubling lumen output, i decreased space by about 1/2. How does this set up look to everybody? Would it be more efficient if I were to have the lights face each other rather than all going in the same direction....

Appreciate the help. I bought a thermometer and saw my temps were hovering around 90 during the afternoons. I know thats a bit high, but I heard this would be fine with CO2. I turned off the 42w and removed the metal reflectors to cut down on heat. I'm up in the air if this was a smart decision...
