Good point. I put the 1 inch hole because of a hempy how-to I read. That one used a screen though, so the hole on that bucket is in-fact too large to be used without one. I'll end up having to install a screen on it. Next time, smaller hole.

In my experience, coco and recirculation don't mix well--especially using drippers. I love the coco media and want to use it for this grow, so recirc is probably out.

I just bought the XGS too. Temps are low here right now so this will go in my room with no active ventilation. I'm assuming the heat won't be an issue based on what others are saying about the unit. I never really have issues with odor, but I use a 6" carbon scrubber on my larger grows.

I didn't measure it with a tape or anything, but seems to be.

Oh, so A51 only buys Diodes from the Durham plant? I'm pretty sure the majority of Cree diodes are made in Huizhou China, so getting a light with 100% USA diodes is definitely worth the extra $$$.
