To FIM or TOP now that is the question .....

Chris, I use string and pull the branches down and tie them off to the root container (usually smart pots). LST(ing) is my favorite part of growing. I will upload pics soon.

    help first time grower

Judging by your leaf tips (pleasantly burned) in this lighting, your plants are getting a healthy amount of nutrients. If your leafs are sagging, your plants might need a watering. The lower foliage will usually begin to depressurize first when your plant is thirsty, working its way upward. If...

    1st time grow...sativas such big...wow

I've found Super Lemon Haze to be a bit more difficult (yet rewarding) to LST than other strains, especially sativa strains. SLH tends to have super sturdy branches and sometimes requires daily maintenance (for me) through veg to keep those branches tame since they get hard fast ;), depending on...

    Some questions...

    1. Yes, males can be used to make hash. 2. pH is usually the first thing I evaluate if I suspect any sort of "lock out". 3. Three gallon "smart pots" would be a good call, although best container size depends on the growers growing techniques (ex: watering frequency). 4. 6.3-6.5 will suffice.

How long will a spore syringe last for?

I have used syringes both stored in a warm, dark closet and a dark refrigerator for over 8 months and they both worked just fine. Although, it is much better and more convenient to just keep some spore prints on hand for long term keep.

How far into flowering are you and what are your "daytime" average and high temps?

    Humidity too low?

I've used Boveda packets a few times and now only use them after I have started a cure as more of a precautionary measure to regulate humidity levels inside the jar long-term. I usually dry until the outer buds start to get dry-ish and ever so "crispy". Once they look and feel right, I cut the...

    Setting up drip irrigation?

    building grow cabinet

You can't go wrong with a 4 inch inline fan (~$70) and a variable fan speed controller (~$20). If you setup your grow space and trial run the lights for a few hours without any fans on and see that the temps are super hot and/or you'd like to also use a carbon filter to regulate odor (most...

i have a interesting plant should i chop

If you did have hermies and those were in fact bananas, I would recommend chopping as soon as I confirmed it a hermie. It is far enough along to vape/hash/whatever you like to do after spending hours with a headlamp, scissors, and a pair of tweezers pulling out sacks of herme semen and carefully...

    point of no return?

More importantly than the bulb switch, have you already put them on 12/12? Regardless, it should be fine to put them back into 24 or whatever cycle you had them on for veg if it's only been a week or so.

Rootbound problem or something else? pics

I doubt it's root bound at that size. Could you maybe be feeding a bit too much? Try flushing and adjusting if you haven't already.

    LED lighting and grow tent??

The light combo will do just fine. The LEDs will be a great supplemental light source for those T5s :) The T5s will get a bit warm, and with a fan pulling that warm air out of there the temps should be fine depending on where you're growing. Try to keep the canopies on level and as low as you...

transplant and strain help and advice

Those little guys should be fine for at least another week or so, maybe even 2. Their roots have most likely not colonized even half of their current container. I, like Bucees, prefer to keep mine in a smaller containers so that I can feed or water them more frequently. As long as their roots...
