yes sir you can run hps for veg, i do. CHECK OUT SEEMORE BUDS movies, god dam i cant remember if its the first or second one but he pulls massive amounts of bud of a grow with only hps. And i was told that MH bulbs have a pulse start, and hps dont, or vise-versa. So using the non pulse start...
