    The Mephisto genetics thread

Truly delicious!! The yield was decent, I got like 5 ounces off 3 plants. Short but stout, like a pitbull ganja plant.

    Best yielding Auto varieties?

I'm surprised you were disappointed. Everything I've grown from them has been absolute fire. My only complaint is that when I grew their sour blues, the main colas got so fat that mold developed on the inside, even in 40 percent humidity!!

    Best yielding Auto varieties?

Any of Dinafems XXL autos are great yielders! I pulled 4 oz off their white widow xxl I've also done the cheese XXL, blue amnesia XXL, and the haze XXL with similar results. also Mephisto.

how tall is that auto in the window

If you had to flip to 12/12 it's not an auto, at least not a good one. True autos will flower regardless of the light cycle.

    I think u got robbed....

There's so many breeders out there that claim to have great autos, unfortunately a lot of them suck. I don't have any experience with the breeders mentioned above, but I can say with confidence that if you go with Mephisto Dinafem Humboldt seeds You will not be disappointed in the genetics!

Anyone tried Light Warrior for autos?

Figured I'd drop an update with some pics. They just started week 9 today. I'm definitely excited for these ladies! I've been feeding them pretty heavily and they seem to be tolerating it well.

    Mephisto super soil amendment

Quick update. Everything seems to be going well. The one in the fabric pot seems a little funky and small.

    Transplanting Autos?

Couldn't you technically get a small fabric grow bag (1-2 gallon) and when you're ready just dig a hole and put it in the ground where you want it? The Roots would grow through the pot and continue on since they won't hit air.

    Sprout or not?

If both plants were feminized autos then you should have feminized auto seeds. I say grown em, but be diligent and check for boy parts along the way!

Are autos impervious to frequent random light changes?

I use 20/4. I can't say if it's more expensive but I'd guess that it's about the same, or possibly a tad more when all costs are considered. I chose autos for a variety of reasons. Here's a few. 1. My unstable power grid would wreak havoc on photo plants. 2. I like harvesting a new variety...
