I think they are the wrong spectrum and get way too hot.

chopping things off is not the way to go unless you are "topping." personally i bend and supercrop my plants to keep them small, which tends to make them more bushy. i'll bend and tie down that top cola 2 or 3 times to take a foot or so off the height. make sense?

But I just take my RO water and put it into 1 gallon milk jugs and put the lid on them. So they are not exposed to air or bright light. Too many variables!

Shouldn't the leaves just slowly fade like this? This the first real grow I did. Kiwi Skunk in a little 2 x 2 x 6 cabinet all CFLs. One plant in a 5 gal bucket.

These are smaller bottom 1/3rd leaves on the cluster bomb but the rest of my plants display the same thing. The top 1/3rd of all the plants look pretty good to me. Might be normal!

As I talked about before I have been wondering about my PH. Tonight I fired up the nice PH meter, hydrated the probe, re-calibrated, and checked my RO water. Seems like the stuff that has been stored in gallon jugs is higher than the fresh stuff. Can that be? Does PH drift up in containers? One...

it would be interesting to track how much light you get through your skylight through the year, and what kind of light footprint happens. i wonder if you'd have better results trying a SOG grow with smaller pots, or a constant autoflower grow.

i think they look great for 3 plants in a bucket under a skylight! i'm sure you'll get way more than 1/2 OZ out of this. at least we hope so.

Good point! I have an RO system so salt isn't an issue.

I've used nirvana and attitude several times. International shipments always go through customs but I wouldn't worry about that. I've never heard of anybody getting busted for ordering seeds.

Am I the only one that doesn't use anything? By the time I'm flowering in 5 gal buckets I try to not have any run off at all and if I do it's not much and I wipe it up with a towel. I suppose it depends on container size and your soil too. I used to use those clear cheap home depot 12" saucers...
