OK...I think we have it all cleared up. I spoke to him. The Main panel os OK. The sub panel needs the 2 15a SP's replaced with a double pole. The breaker with the blue handle isn't being used and the other two breakers (top left of the sub) are 2 diffefent circuits.....1 for the furnace and 1...

Yeah...it's a good thing. It's done right in the MAIN panel. Basically that sub panel needs 240v (2 120 v circuits). You get that when you have a double pole breaker (the handle extends across 2 breakers). You dont want 1/2 the panel to trip. The same thing holds true with the dryer. It...

Yeah...I'm kind of the same way.....it never seems good enough no matter how much I invest. I get bored just watchin them grow. I can give you some plans for my DIY bud dryer if you're just itchin to build something.

Seems to me we have enough electrical guys joining the thread and I need to step out. Good luck! Here's something to salivate over. My new DIY areo system which I made to fit in a 40"x40" area. Those plants were 6-8" tall when set in to 12/12 on 3/7. :bigjoint...

That bottom breaker in the main panel (the one the sub is connected to) looks like 2 single poles to me.

You wanna know the truth? I have no idea what that homeowner did. The breaker in the MAIN panel feeding the sub look like 2 single poles. WTF? The dryer breaker in the sub ALSO looks like (2) single poles. A second WTF? I think that's a MLO panel so what that blue handled 15 is for beats me.

Hey inval...take over I've got to run out. Check a few things out. Sub panel looks like MLO Main panel has (2) SINGLE poles feeding the sub. WTF? Panel schedule looks wrong.

Start getting info on both panels. Make of, and BREAKER type needed. You MAY need a breaker for that old panel too.

Also...from the writing it looks as if there is a dryer (2pole) breaker and a furnace connected. If he's not using electric heat chances are that the single pole is the furnace and the other double pole is the main breaker for the sub-panel. That would make the panel schedule wrong too.

Hey Dirty..... I do think that's a 100a panel but can't figure out what the blue breaker is for in the sub panel. I can't tell from the pic but it doesn't look like a double pole which would be what you'd need if you were using it as a main breaker. That MAY be a MLO (main lug only) panel and...

    6" PVC system

No, actually it's not a "no" just yet. As I said I have 3 Moms and each tube is devoted to (plants came from) 1 Mom. I THINK tube 3 and the associated Mom is different than tubes 1 & 2. I will take about 50- 60 cuttings about 2 weeks prior to harvest (about 20 from each Mom) and when I...

Two important points to mention: 1. A circuit breaker is meant to protect the WIRE feeding the outlet. It is NOT meant to protect the device plugged in to the outlet. Example? You can have a 20 circuit in your home wired properly (12g wire) and then make the mistake of connecting some cheapo...

    I cant f**king clone.

I'm usually successful at cloning although recently I had some problems due to room temps. It was too cold (about 60fah) and 2 groups died. I'd never had an issue before and the only thing I saw different was room temp. I bought a cheapo heater and warmed the closet to about 80fah. Bingo...every...
