Why does time seem to go so slow when you reach this point? :weed: 4 weeks from 12/12...about 1/2 through and the DIY system seems to work fine.

Yep...with Rapid Rooter plugs and Hydroton.

Its all up for debate as to whether 24 hrs does any more good than 18. Leave it that way it is if you want. In either case the plant wont go in to full flower until you go to 12/12. Once you go to 12/12 the flowering process begins and within 2 weeks you should see flowers...

Run 18hrs until they're about 12" tall. Switch to 12/12. Within 2 weeks you should be able to spot the males and get rid of them, and in 55-70 days they should be ready to harvest depending on the strain.

Got to dig it out for pics. Basically its a big plastic storage box. On each end there is a 4" muffin fan...the intake is on the lower right side and the exhaust is on the upper left. Naturally the intake blows IN and the exhaust blows out. The inlet side has a piece of 4" smoke pipe connected...
