Use a digital dimmable ballast for your HID light, set it to 500 watts to start out, and put a Metal Halide bulb in it for the vegetative state. You can ramp the wattage up as it grows.

I'd love to give it a try. Since the rules talk about TH Seeds commentary, I'll say this - their website is pretty lacking in information about their strains in comparison to other breeders. If they're looking for constructive criticism, mine would be to add a lot more information.

I've never tried it or any seeds from Phoenix Seeds, for that matter. I would love to try an autoflower version if I won, though.

I wish that were the case, but my order (which took over a month) was just finalized a few weeks ago. Hopefully others will start to see 2 week deliveries on a regular basis - that's a reasonable amount of time. But of course, accurate tracking of the order would be nice, too.

Just a follow-up... this time I ordered my Ace seeds directly from Ace instead of through Seedsman and I received them in just 7 days. Much better, and it still included a freebie.

My order took just over a month to receive, which blew away my hopes of doing a last minute outdoor grow with what I ordered. I waited a week for any kind of order status, then the order spent over 2 weeks with a status of "In transit to local shipping depot." Would I order again? I'm not...

A few months ago, I did a side-by-side of a topped and non-topped Ripley's OG. No difference at all between the two, and no slow down in growth. Yesterday, I FIM'ed a Creme De La Chem. This morning - brand new growth. Amazing.

Oh, man. Now I want to get one of those just so I can rewire and repurpose it.

I would rather have them specialize on one side of the fence than spread their talents across both.
