Yeah no doubt. To be honest the only pest that's ever caused a problem for me is caterpillars. I think I've mentioned this before but without BT I would not even be able to grow outdoors.

Yeah....the outdoor battle. Always seems to be something. I can't imagine what it's like to farm cannabis outdoors at scale, commercially. They must spray heavy to keep everything off them. Once they flower I don't like to let my plants get hit with rain.

Just over a month into the season and I did an inspection this afternoon. On the lowest leaves some were filled with eggs. I snipped them off and others I just wiped them off with a paper towel. If I didn't lift the leaf up I would not have noticed. They tend to stick the eggs under the leaf to...

It's that time again. Dropping my seeds this weekend. Been a cold spring in the NE. Temps just moved above 70 for the first time this week. Getcha fresh bottle of BT boys we got caterpillars to kill.

I think the worst thing you could do is starting throwing nutrients at those plants. I can't see from the pictures what kind of pots are you growing in? Buddy of mine was using 5 gallon plastic buckets one summer and got hit with the same thing. The plastic heating in the sun caused the color...

I've discovered the hay smell tends to be strongest before you final trim and remove excess leaf matter. After drying on the rack for 7-10 days I do final trim and throw them in a big paper grocery bag for another week. Then I bag it and burp it for a month.

I only grow outdoor every summer. Every harvest I'm reminded how important it is to wash the flower. I do a good wet trim before the wash. You have to go through it with a fine tooth comb. Literally checking the inside of every bud. Some damage can be hidden. Tiny flies stuck on the bud, etc...

Not really. They can handle overnight temps of low 50 degrees. They usually feed at dawn or dusk.

I always love tossing one or two mystery seeds every year. Part of the fun is the unknown. My son gave about 100 assorted he had collected up.
