    Cytokinins (6-BAP) & Auxins (IAA)

Awesome thread! I have always been of the mind set that auxins and cytokinins are plant hormones with two distinct actions and shouldn't be used untop of each other at the same time, rather used together at the right times. I like to use a 'root stimulator' in early veg to encourage root...

    Wilting/dying leaves

I was having issues when I first switched to RO water, mostly with not supplementing enough cal/mag/iron. I was using botanicare cal/mag and switched to CaliMagic from GH based on a recommendation from a trusted grower. Calcum deficiency can sometimes almost look like nute or light burn-tips...

    Wilting/dying leaves

I can't see the holes in your pics, so it's hard to say about those. Just keep checking multiple spots/leaves with your microscope. 30x + you should see almost any common mj pest. Spider mites are fairly big, you can see them without a scope(if you know what they are/look like). Take a peice...

    Wilting/dying leaves

I thought the same exact thing until I read his lights were pretty far away. It looks exactly like what happens when a plant grows into my T5s while I'm away or busy with work for a few days and can't make it into the grow room.

Are you using RO, distilled, or any kind of heavily filtered water?

Newgirl to RIU WOULD LOVE TO GET STARTED ON MY JOURNAL

YOU STILL NEED EXHAUST AND INTAKE, LED OR NOT. Don't be fooled into thinking LEDs don't produce heat, especially if you get a cheap one! I can't tell you how many people I know/have seen bought a LED thinking it would solve their heat problems, only to realize that a proper set up is only...

Not able to find the answer for a month... (rollitup might help)

Your gonna give me a big head :) Thanks for the compliment though. I'm just an amatuer, and learned a lot of what I know from RIU and fellow growers!

Not able to find the answer for a month... (rollitup might help)

I just started getting into foliar feeding with a kelp product like floralicious plus while in veg. Only once a week, but the plants seam to absolutely LOVE it. Was scared to do it/didn't see the need, but they do respond beautifully to the kelp extract. Absolutely not needed at all, but I...

Best way(s) to create bud size/weight in final 2 weeks???

It's tough to give an answer because so many factors come into play. What medium, what kind of lights, etc. My plants get water ONLY for their final two weeks(no acute flush prior, just plain water and sugars until harvest), but I use a bloom booster prior to that. Bloom boosters only...

4x4 tent need help cooling her down!!!!

Oh yeah, and keep your light cycle so it's on during the coldest part of the day. The light in my flower tent comes on at midnight and off at noon. Soon it will be cold where I live, so it won't really matter-but during the hottest days of the summer I couldn't run my light during the day...

4x4 tent need help cooling her down!!!!

Exhaust and light should be ducted directly outside, or into another room you don't mind getting hot. If you run that kind of set up, the temp in your tent should be within a degree or two of the ambient temp outside the tent(or the temp of the intake air).

4x4 tent need help cooling her down!!!!

Didn't read the OP, but there is ONE right way to set up a 4x4 tent... You need a 400cfm 6" fan, with a speed controller, for your exhaust(hooking up a carbon filter to this is optional). This is the vent at the very top of your tent. You need a 400cfm 6" fan, with a speed controller, for...

Not able to find the answer for a month... (rollitup might help)

Foliar feeding is an 'advanced' technique IMVHO, isn't needed, and shouldn't be used during flower. I've recently discovered the benefits of spraying a kelp extract while in veg(something like Floralicious+) Flushing won't bring about any noticable changes-the leaves that are damaged are...

Is there such thing as too much LST?

Hey I love donkey dicks as much as the next guy, but they can be an issue if your humidity isn't dialed or fluctuates or if your outdoors(which I know isn't the case in this issue). Nothing wrong with smaller buds either, but I like to find the happy medium. Just wanted to bring it to the op's...

Is there such thing as too much LST?

Sometimes you have tie branches down to something like the edge of the pot. I find that healthy plants will straighten themselves sometimes within 12hrs, so they often need to be tied down, not just bent. Remember, TAPE is your friend- if you get a little to aggresive and snap a branch or...

NUTE BURN. Flush, continue with 1/2 the amount you were feeding and work your way back up from there if you have to.

Is there such thing as too much LST?

Can't really LST too much, it's all relative. I've made plants too big/bushy by vegging too long which forces me to LST even more, making an even bigger, bushier plant. Always remember though, the more 'tops' you create, the smaller the buds. After my last round I decided I'd rather go with...

    Hermies

yea your plants havent started flowering yet, or they are just begining too. they won't be ready for AT LEAST 60 days. next time you might want to consider buying autoflowering seeds which have a determined life cycle. most will say X DAYS from seed to harvest, and unlike photoperiods they...

    Few leaves yellowing

I dont think your leaves are curling due to 'fatigue' otherwise anyone vegging under 24hrs would have issues. IME the curl your seeing isn't terrible, and its not that nast eagle claw. If they start getting worse and form 'rams horns' you have an issue
