Defoilate or not defoilate, that isnthe question

Unless you did a 3 way test with identical clones, then that point is moot. It didn't seem to phase the plants, but you have no idea if it did or didn't. So they return in a week, but are smaller. So the plant uses up a lot of energy and time to produce the leaves it needs to feed itself...

Does anyone use antidepressants and continue to smoke marijuana? Panic attack

It isn't legal here, I'm in the UK. I have recently had a nasty bout of illness. To say it caused me to suffer panic attacks is and understatement. I had cancer. I made sure that I told my doctor and my psychologist exactly about my cannabis use. It isn't for everyone and that is fine...

Defoilate or not defoilate, that isnthe question

Maybe, but only a few here and there. Your Lollypopping job looks good, I do it just like that and then flip to flower. But once they start showing buds I tend to leave them be, sometimes I take the odd big fan leaf that is blocking decent bud sites. Generally I am of the school that thinks...

Do I need the leaves to turn yellow before harvest

You don't need to have yellow leaves and you shouldn't flush. There are many clues to if it is ready or not. Firstly, have the pistils changed colour? Are the trichomes cloudy, with a hint of amber on some of them? Are the pistils retracting into the calyxes?

Thanks. I have already beaten it. They told me I had cancer on the 25th March and I had it removed in April. I then had Chemo and Radiotherapy and by the end of September I got the all clear. The universe is going to have to try harder than that to get me. I am lucky really, Cancer care...

    The UK Growers Thread!

Thing is we were skint for so long we have learned to live within our means. I have stopped making stupidly short journeys in the car, saves a fortune. I am also lucky that when we fitted central heating we went for a log burner with a back boiler to feed the radiators. I spend a lot of my...

    Grow room to cold

I am in a similar scenario and I just invested in a cheap 500w oil filled radiator and run it at around 50%. It heats my 4x4x5 to about 28℃. I did have one of those tube heaters and it didn't really do a lot.

    The UK Growers Thread!

It is this peat free nonsense. It is just composted crap to bulk it out. I really haven't got the room to store 200L of compost. It used to be the odd bug. The last lot I bought was full of swarms of them. I got a face full as I opened the bag. I have been looking for places that store it...

Hi, I am looking for a compost/soil mix, that is available in the UK and doesn't come with fuck tons of fungus gnats FOC. Any suggestions?

Any lawyers out there that want to take down a pos website you is with holding health info from people?

I am into classic Volkswagens. In 2006 I joined a forum called Volkszone. Up to about 2012 it was the biggest and busiest VW forum in Europe. Then ever so slowly it began to dwindle, now it gets about 10 posts a week, down from about 10,000 a day. All of the people moved over to Faceache...

    Soil?

The absolute easiest way to get a good reliable soil mix is to buy it, it doesn't have to be anything fancy like Fox Farms either. I go to the local garden centre and buy off the shelf stuff. If it suitable for homegrown tomatoes, then it will be just fine for weed. I don't know where you are...

First time with autoflowers and they seem to suck generally

It is what happens if you fuck it up. I dropped a seeding the other day, complete accident. It was a photo in veg. It is recovering, whilst that is happening the others are shooting ahead. Another few days and it will be fine again. If that had been an Auto then 10% of it's total growing...

    question to breeders

You could take two identical clones and grow them under two identical lights. One with salt based nutes and the other with organic nutes. Then dry and cure them identically and no one could tell the difference in flavour. Anyone that says they can is kidding themselves. I grow in peat free...

    The UK Growers Thread!

Yeah, I have that happen. I can't remember the specific strain. TBH I didn't give it much thought. Regardless of the odd brown pistil those have still got many weeks to go. All I can think it is an indication of is that it has a few brown hairs. They look good.
