    Clones Veg Time/Planning?

It all sounds good on paper. But be prepared for the fact your plants will likely take longer to flower than 9 weeks. I was saying, in another thread, putting deadlines on a harvest never works out, because they take as long as they take. Just because the seed breeder/vendor says they take 9...

    Organic newb question

I have no experience of these top dressing products like Gaia Green. I generally use a single bottle feed. I tend to suffer from Ca and Mg deficiency. To stop this I took to adding a teaspoon of Epsom Salt and Calcium Chloride per 5L of water, every other feed. I don't get the deficiency...

    First Large Grow

Yeah I saw that. He seems to have stumbled upon a business model that maintains a balance between terminally stupid and the ridiculously wealthy.

    First Large Grow

You spelt bro science wrong. Seriously, that is utter rubbish. Selective defoliation is fine. There is plenty horticultural science and anecdotal evidence to support it, that is just nonsense.

How much more yield with a good LED 1k vs 600 hps

Yep. I put IMHO because I don't know where the point of no extra gain lies.

How much more yield with a good LED 1k vs 600 hps

I got 19oz from 4 TS1000 clones, that is 600w true watts in a 4x4 area. I wouldn't want to run more than that in a 4x4, IMHO there is a law of diminishing returns.

    should I use jiffy pot

I have tried them and little bags and they always screw things up. Autos I germinate on a paper towel and then stick them straight in the final pot. For photos I germinate on a paper towel and go into a 50mm² (2") pot and once they are ready they go into their final pot.

    High Times

High Times was shit 20 years ago. All magazines are just advertising catalogues now. I'm into classic VWs, if you buy a VW magazine these days it is 75% adverts and featured cars that have been restored by their sponsors.

    "Just add water soil" problem

I grow in a store bought organic soil mix, it is called Westland New Horizon. It will feed the plants for about 6 weeks. So I water with a solution of Epsom Salts and Calcium Chloride, every other watering. Then at about week 4 I start with a Liquid Seaweed tomato food called Tomorite, at...

    Who's producing more than 1g/w?

I have hit 1g per watt in the past. My last big grow just shy of 20oz and that is more weed than I smoke in a year. As long as it is nice smoke I am always happy with what I get. I have a few finishing now. I doubt I'll get 1g per watt from them, as due to various circumstances beyond my...

    Seed that produced two seedlings...

Strangest thing happened. I have just germinated 3 x Aloha OG seeds from Sensi Seeds. One of them produced two roots, I wish I'd taken a photo. It them split open and produced two seedlings. One was normal size and the other was kind of runty and small. Anyway I potted it up, just because...

    Sonoff/Tasmota programming?

Just using them as is. I don't see the benefit of the Tasmota firmware TBH. The eWelink app gives you full LAN control, so you don't even need internet access to control them. TBH I use Sonoff for the lights in my flower tent. SmartLife for my fans and TP-Link Tapo for the lights in my veg...
