    Which LED would you choose?

I have some Viperspectra xs 2000s 270 watt draw and they work great, the diodes are Samsung and the driver meanwell so I think they are great value for the money the build is good and the dimmer works great. Looking at the par map it appears the XS2000 gives higher numbers than the KS3000. To...

Mesh to prevent bugs from duct/exhaust

I bought the Hyper climate controller that auto-adjust in and out fans to a set temperature in the grow room, so far they are brilliant and now the nights outside is like 3 celsius and they keep the room at 26 lights on and 22 lights off, couldn't be happier with them easy and precise.

Mesh to prevent bugs from duct/exhaust

I find the best is an intake carbon filter, the intake version lets a lot more air through than a regular carbon filter.

There is also another app called Photone that does the same thing, it has a hold button so you can lock a reading and move the phone to see the reading, I installed Tent Buddy will see how they compare.

How long for regen to full veg

I don't think it will change anything just add a bunch of time to it, I remember way back some guys that never killed there out door plant just harvest and let it sit and they would go again next season, I was forced to do this as I had a heat matt fault that cooked my cuttings so I had to take...

How long for regen to full veg

These are 18 days in airpots from 4 inch clone, they took 21 days to root and were cut from mother's 2 weeks into flower. How long before they back into full veg mode and lose the funky leaf structure, they haven't been tipped at all just regen, I,m in no hurry will be growing them into trees.

First grow- Yellow older leaves / rust spots

I feel whatever deficiencies or toxicity are showing in the leaves is caused by not having a prolific enough roots system your pots are so clean with barely a root tip showing where there should be 100s of them, if you get that part right it will be a good grow, Ive never grown indoors in soil...

First grow- Yellow older leaves / rust spots

Yes the light needs to be at an intensity where the plants remain turgid, that tells you the plant's roots in their ability to transpire are keeping up with the lights demand for growth, if you exceed that balance where the roots cannot keep up then the plant will droop to withhold water and...

First grow- Yellow older leaves / rust spots

The light intensity is only showing you the root system is not very good, the more light the more root system needs to be there to drive the photosynthesis demand of the lights, as you lower the intensity the plant perks up because the demand on the roots is lower. Plants the size of yours...

    Of..gnats

Just to add I was a little late in getting the bags over my latest plants, over the last few days Ive killed probably 100 or more inside each bag so I must have had a few eggs laid, I don't have any fliers at all in the room and without those bags Id have over a 1000 in the room, its the 2nd...

    Of..gnats

Depends if you want to eradicate or have a running battle with them, nothing worse for growers than a constant battle with bugs that have the potential to ruin the entire grow.

    Of..gnats

Yeah true the airpots are a magnet for Gnats but that net bag stops them totally in airpots or any pot, thesedays I don't care if I see a few in the room I know they cant do anything, no overnight hatch out and sudden infestation, I been battling them for a year or more at this place, they would...

    Of..gnats

I see them in the bottom around the drain holes and under the pot, they love coco and the medium needs moisture all the time, its hard to run hydroponics and have a dry top, if the top is dry they will lay eggs in the bottom, Im becoming convinced that keeping them out of the rootball is the...

    Of..gnats

It might be the other things you are doing, I tried all the methods in the thread and a few more, and the bloody things just keep appearing, so Im on my last stand and thinking keep them out of the root ball and they are no issue, Im in a rural area and there are gnats everywhere outside they...

    Ebb&Flow_Rockwool_root rot

In the beginning youre far better of with drippers than flooding a slab, its ok when they're big but when they are little, a flood cycle water logs the Rockwool , even if its 1/2 inch high it will suck it up like a sponge, soak the slab let it drain place cutting on top with a dripper near and...

Diatomaceous powder is useless if it gets wet, no point mixing it with medium or putting on top if you top water, it only works if its dry.

    Of..gnats

Ive had lots of problems with Gnats no matter what I try they keep coming back to the point of trying mechanical means which appear to be working better than anything. Wrap the pot in a paint strainer bag and nip it around the stem, as gnats hatch and you see them in the bag just spray with...

Yeah its looking to be very stable, this pic was the heat of the day outside at 31c 37% and the highest it got in the clone chambers was 27 with 87% humidity vents wide open .

    Cloning high humidity with airflow.

I had an issue with the heat mat not turning off properly and the clones I had were at the 6th day looking good and under a dome with vent cracked, I didn't catch it for 24 hrs and it got to 32c under the dome, which cranked the humidity back up over 90% and consequently caused stem rot in the...
