Maybe try attaching a y piece to the fan and having the y piece attach to the light and a carbon filter, have ducting from the light pull in air straight from outside the tent. So the fan then has 2 jobs but one of them is using more airflow (the light) to cool it but also still keeping light...

What would be the cause of temp/ rh problems? And how would I deal with thoes the best I can without ac. I got a booser fan at first thinking it would work for exhaust :roll: so, I was thinking id still put it to use for intake, also I have an inline exhaust fan on the way in the mail 440 cfm...

I've got a 5x5x6.5 Grow Den tent and a 1000w air cooled hood.. Besides from current heat issues trying to be resolved, which i'm planning on getting an actual exhaust fan for proper ventilation, i'm hoping the temps will average from 74-85.. I'll be running lights at night to help as well...

I suppose I could put the duct booster down in one of the intake holes yeah 8)

I forgot to mention that heat has been a problem, that's why we thought of the y splitter, air inside the tent is getting around the 90's and climbs sometimes, where outside it's around 74 nights to 85 max daytim, (in a garage) the Y split might make the light non relevant to the tent temp?

Has anyone ever tried using a Y connector connected to the hood and the carbon filter inside via ducting for smell prevention? Which would also still bring in new air from vents. Venting it all outside keeping hood heat away from the tent temp. Outside===>reflector=== >Y-split--one end into the...

So, my buddy and I were talking about set-ups for ventilation and came across this idea: -1 440 cfm exahust fan -1 1000w ac hood light -1 5x5x6.5 grow den tent -1 6" carbon filter I think its 12" long I don't know -1 Y split adapter - 25ft of flexi ducting - also a duct booster laying around...
