    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

Hey all been busy the last couple days. Found some time to get out to the lake but no luck. Water is way too warm for speck fishing on shore. Doesn't help the pup loves the water so it's hard to keep her out. Had a few fish jumping for the bug hatch on the surface but of course I left the fly...

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

People around here toss them on shore. They are quite invasive and will destroy a walleye rich lake if left alone. Personally I find barely a difference in taste compared to walleye but the meat almost seems "soggy". Apart from texture they're just as fun to eat as they are to catch.

Looks meatier too. My dad was telling me about them, guess they have them inland on the east coast. Fun little fact for you guys, I'm in one of the few zones where smallmouth is open year round with a limit of 6. The lakes are few and far between but I located one that's been ignored for...

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

That's cool! I'm jealous of the variety you guys got down there but I'm thankful for the countless, more private lakes we have up here. I got some buddies down south that like to go for Ling. They cooked some up one night and I gotta say for being such ugly buggers they taste pretty damn good...

Chain pickerel? We call walleye pickerel up here for some reason. Beauty colours on those! Never caught one, how do they taste?

I was almost tempted to blur them out as well as I seen this comment coming! The wife always jokes that they're my "safety crocs". I may or may not use them as a chainsaw boot alternative  Along with my "chainsaw shorts" Old age, truthfully I needed one last year, but now it's...

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

You must be around southern Ontario or further out west? We don't have em here up north. Never would have thought they were that tough to catch, I almost expected them to act aggressively like pike and just go for anything in front of them.

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

You guys gave me the itch. Got the motor in a bucket to test it out and make sure it runs. Friggin impellers done. 2 week back-order. D'oh! If I get some decent shut eye tonight I'm gonna take the dog down to the pond nice and early and see if I can get a few specs. And if it's still early...

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

Amazing. I've never had the pleasure to fish for sea trout, but it's on my bucket list. I was talking with the inlaws the other week and it's possible I'll be doing a little rainbow fishing trip next year along with some deer hunting in the fall. I'd have to say there's nothing better than...

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

As for the set up - it's been switched around quite a bit now. Getting set up for perpetual. Meijiu bar LED coming in this week. I'm hoping lumber prices drop enough this winter to make finishing my basement worth it. Then I can start on a dedicated room.

    Hashishh's Perpetual Fishing Trip

I find them bland myself, but I've never turned down a fish fry! I like em deep fried in flour, cornmeal and cajun or lemon pepper :bigjoint: I just got a new meat grinder for fathers day so I see pike burgers on the horizon

When the goal is NON psychoactive...

I don't have any definitive answers to this but am genuinely curious as well. A few questions if you don't mind - What variety/strain have you been growing? I'd suggest a "pure" (or as close) CBD variety if you could. Something like a 1:10 (THC:CBD) to avoid accidentally giving yourself a buzz...

How much is this going to yield?

You could always put a high powered electric fence around them next time - Pre-cooked! :bigjoint:

    4x4 tent

That's actually an awful price for 100w of power. You'll need 10 of those to achieve 1000w. 600 ACTUAL watts should be enough for a 4x4 area. Don't look at the equivalent wattage, look at the actual wattage of the lights. I suggest doing some more research before diving into LED.

Any professionals tell me what's wrong?

I was taking a look at their soils. They seem to be organic and generally don't suggest feeding until flower and that's only at about 1ec, so I'd be safe and go as high as 0.5 during flower. Probably start around 0.3 and work it up slowly. I'll maintain overfeeding and if I had to make an...

Humidity question: Is you're basement humidity the same as the rest of the house usually?

Interesting. I'll have to look into this to replace our propane furnace when the time comes. Wonder how it does in -40c? Time to dive down the rabbit hole. Thanks.
