    Plants coming up from Roots

give it some time and look at the plant development, I’ve done the same andhad the plants come back real stringy like a vine with lots of budsites but small yield...i’ve also done that with a haze outside and literally built a 10ft long x 4 wide hedge of buds that yielded 5 lbs of killer outdoor...

    Flowering in spring

You cant get an “absolute latest date” between spring and summer equinox because of genetic and grow room variables. If you put inside plants (on 18/20/16/24 hours of light inside) to outside, 3 things can happen 1) you do it early enough you can finish a harvest before summer or 2) plants...

How many BTU do I need for 8000 watts?

Sorry if I misunderstood and was “Captain Obvious” yes in fact I use open bulbs (open, 400w HPS vertical) but just to hang below the canopy and supplement my overhead CMH bulbs during flower. If you cant use cool tubes and vent to attic/garage/outside you may need to get one of those...

How many BTU do I need for 8000 watts?

You’d better rethink running open, 1K HPS bulbs (multiple) with no exhaust or air replacement/cooling, regardless of size that room will be hot like the sun.

Anyone ever use these to germinate

Root Riot cubes are the best, those jiffy pots arent terrible if you use the dome or just place them directly in soil once seeded

    Ways to stop the stretch?

Try using Ceramic Metal Halide as your primary light source, no kelp after 3 weeks before you begin flowering, and start using Big Bud and Bud Candy earlier than reccommended, like right as you flip to 12/12

Will my plants be ok or go into early flower??

Wait until late may when the daylength is longer. Insider growers often dont realize your girl starts stacking bud outside when there is 14 or so daylight hours, then slowly build up during light wind down of fall/winter. Even if your plants start flowering now outside they will slow due to...

    Help asap please

Go back to your “usually 12/12 time” as you stated, you are in day 40 so it’ll work out fine.

    Help asap please

Put them in the dark until you can start your next light cycle at your normal time-at 7am. Its ok for them to have a longer night cycle

    Mainlining?

exactly what I found compared to mainline, but again its about your setup and light source; I use both fixed and open, vertical bulbs thru flower and get full plants similar to outdoor, but if I just had my CMH fixture above mainling definitely would expose more bud to light. Glad you...

    Grow tent too HOT

probably fine for cfls but if using an HID or strong LED/Cobbs the closet will combust from heat

    Grow tent too HOT

exactly! Once you turn that on and start exchanging your inside to outside tent air you’ll notice your room temp will go up but your grow-tent temp will be much cooler. You are all set with that inline fan and filter just start using it, not just for smells my man!

    Mainlining?

i love sativas and just harvested a bunch of Rare Dankness GTH#1, Medical Seeds 1024 and Jack LaMota, i usually top x2 and do the 4-way LST with landscaping-felt spikes (u-shaped metal spikes). I also think stringy sativas are the best for SCROG if you have a few months to wait. I thought I’d...

    Mainlining?

Some lady named “Nebula Haze” had a great mainlining tutorial, Google it, pics and everything and you’ll end up with some nice baseball bats although I still cringe with mainlining/lollipopping.....in personal expirements, while it was easier to trim and looked nicer, I ended up with LESS weight...

    Grow tent too HOT

well that works for me, so myfan cannister is sitting inside my tent on the floor, and if I open the top port-hole/vent on the opposite top side I can still block all light while pulling fresh air across my canopy, between the light and plants so even if temp is 80 degrees F my girls are cool...

    Grow tent too HOT

BINGO you must have an extractor (inline) fan to cycle the air inside your tent, otherwise the heat builds up and your girls dont get enough CO2. Get a 6-8 inch fan with speed-control switch and you wont have heat or smell issues....just the low drone of a fan running....always....

    Grow tent too HOT

It will take up some room but put your can-filter (with the carbon sheets) inside your tent but set it on the floor (elevated on a piece of wood or brick 3-5 in). Now open the vent diagonally across your tent on the TOP of the opposite side...you are creating a direct path to suck out all of...
