Thanks dude. I wanted to do a better job putting in the barrier but it serves the purpose. It's 6 millimeters. For added assurance I put in 3 layers.

It's just a piece of 1" insulation with OSB under it. I screwed a 2x10 frame together then tacked down the insulation and screwed the OSB to the frame. Holds approximately 100 liters.

Should work much better than the bucket system. Now to just take care of my nutrient issue. I wouldn't recommend AN to anyone. Luckily I had a friend with some spare DNF on them. First run with DWC so it's a learning curve.

Thanks for the help guys I went ahead and build a res. Couldn't be happier to ditch the buckets. Don't mind the crappy job with the vapour barrier.. I just didn't have the patience for it lol.
