    Looking for nutrients recipe help

1 plus on the Cal Mag and or Epson salts. I believe too much Chlorine in water locks out Magnesium and Calicum and something else can't remember atm. But also too much Calicum will lock out Magnesium. Correct me if am wrong. :eyesmoke: So for all of you that use straight hose water direct to...

What do you hate most about hydroponics / growing

My first thought is running tap water through buckets by means of tap water pressure to save a hydro crop by emergency. Just an idea ..

    Yield per meter squared

The picture is for people to understand that are just reading this thread not directed at you specifically. Yields are generally not set in stone by the varying degrees of growing styles and methods of course. "1.5lbs to 2.0lbs is average yields for 1k" So yes ... A "good" grower can ussualy...

    Yield per meter squared

That's around 1.7lbs I thought that was pretty good? Especially outdoors at 1200g because look at other strains at outdoor yield compared to indoor and you'll see what I mean. Am sure they mean per square meter not per light. I'll be finding out shortly, I'll post to this thread in the future...

Guide to Getting Rid of Root Rot

I have been saying this for years and years and years . ... SM90 for DWC! That's all I use and it always works ALWAYS! The ultimate test of SM90 is when I ran a RDWC in one space I had for a backup system with no res change or cleaning for almost 2 months. Just SM90 and nutes and no chiller...

    Yield per meter squared

General rule of thumb is: For every 1000w HID you can expect to yield 1.5lbs to 2.0lbs per 5x5 area depending on genetics and style of growing. No matter how many plants in that area as long as it's filled in. You need a minimum 35 watts per square foot to grow these demanding plants but they...

Local (tap) water quality and its contents for DWC

I would recommend using any type of water filter other then RO to "reduce" PPM and save on the RO unit and extra supplements needed for RO. My water may be low PPM and all but it has allot of chlorine in it and it fizzes away for 24 hours. It likes to burn the plants a bit if its freshly out of...

going to do a coco grow and i am looking for tips

Sounds like fun, for my mother's I use soiless Promix HP in fabric pots with bottom feed trays. Works great lots of oxygen for roots and air pruned from fabric pots .. close as you can get to hydroponics and excellent results if flowering in this style of growing. It has a similar PH range as...

    another cloudy rez question

It might be the PH buffers. If you don't shake the bottle up at all, you can get more or less buffers in your res or buckets and it might look cloudy. ie: PH up bottle with the blue looking sediments at bottom. Might explain why one or two are cloudy and the rest are not. Your water temps are a...
