I don't usually ask, but I really need a solution.

I have 7 tents with carbon filters. That with fresh air blowing through my place constantly gets rid of the smell of weed. With regards to bugs if you're growing in soil you're probably going to get bugs there anyway. Coco/hydro compared to soil isn't usually a major problem with bugs anyway...

Led grown - plants too bushy - defoliating

G13 seeds C99 2nd Blimburn Cindy The lower buds are just like the top buds. Pretty even. White Siberian More colas at the top. More buds everywhere. More air flow. I just don't see any draw backs to defoliating tbh.

You get these people that use led for efficiency, then use a 2000w heater in the dark period, a dehumidifier, and brag about the efficiency of their light. It makes me laugh that they are using all that other shit just to grow a weed. What's the obsession with sealed rooms too? It's just a weed...

I'm in the UK. My tap water isn't so bad really. Most people that comes from other areas in England always say my local tap water tastes really nice compared to theirs. Currently mixing up nutes with straight tap water, canna coco a & b at 700ppm. I get ph 5.8-5.9 and I'm in coco. I'm happy with...

Led grown - plants too bushy - defoliating

Defoliated again yesterday. Opened the plants up again. Lots of light getting in there. No pics today though. I'll just take pics in a few weeks to see how they look then.

Led grown - plants too bushy - defoliating

I'm going to get some more small leds to boost one of the tents. Probably 2 x 50w cobs. Don't really have any more room for any leds then.

    CptTripps' first grow journal.

See I'm drastic when I grow. Imo, get the plants out. Get some hedge cutting large scissors and lop the growth off until they are all 1ft high. Then top all the top nodes once to let lower nodes grow up. Give them 4 days to recover Then flip to 12/12. That's exactly what I would do in your...

Switching to LED Need PRO Advice

Consider buying a used led. It keeps the budget open. I've picked up some cracking leds for pittance over the years on ebay from non believers. Even then I now have decent leds in all my tents, but still have some of the other leds to mix nicely into the spectrum. Which is better? White leds or...

I don't usually ask, but I really need a solution.

Yeah mate, I use a trivet. An iron tripod placed over a fire for a cooking pot or kettle to stand on, or for weed plants to drain whilst getting more air to roots. lol You can just get the cheaper ones for plates to balance on.

Yes, just defoliate. As long as you feed them that in the proper ph range and get lots of run off everyday, then you're golden.

Seriously, don't you worry one bit over this. Overall things are ok. I bet you in 1 month you can even see any of the damaged leaves. Make the most of it. Find any damaged leaves in the centre of the plant that are blocking the light getting to other branches and nodes. Then remove them and let...

    CptTripps' first grow journal.

Just read through a lot of the journal. Those big photoperiod girls are dying to be scrogged out in that big tent. Perfect bushes to feed under and through a net. If it were my grow I'd scrog them in the big tent, get another 3ft x 3ft tent for autos, another led, a y splitter for ducting and...

Led grown - plants too bushy - defoliating

Thanks I recently ditched 7 400w lamps and ballasts and blew a couple of grand on leds. I grew with led for the 1st 6 years of growing. All blurple leds and had good results. When I switched to hps I got good yields, better yields, but lost the quality. I like growing under led, my plants love...

Led grown - plants too bushy - defoliating

After 36 hours my plants are recovering great! Plus got some new tops. I'm doing this again 100%. I often don't get why people grow these 5ft high plants then strip off the lower 3ft. I do prefer growing photoperiods more like how autoflowers look. A short wide bud laden plant. Pineapple...

I don't usually ask, but I really need a solution.

My plants are ahead of your in age and size, but I'm still feeding my plants Canna coco a and b at 600 ppm. I'm tempted to up it, but they are so happy. You know when the time is right, you'll just look at them one day and think 'are they slightly lighter?' Then up the feed and the next time you...
