Can 700 watts of LED strips grow trees???

Oh, without a doubt man, I agree. I would love to be able to get one, but cant, lol.. Just a tool to get a general idea is all it is. So, with the calibration of the Mars300. I found dudes thread back in history when i had my mars300. So i drilled a hole, and it wasnt on par with a review I...

Can 700 watts of LED strips grow trees???

Hey randomblame, I went by a thread where dude did DIY Par meters, and the end result was simply drilling a hole in the cover. It pretty much is spot on with the divide by 78 perimeters, which i guess is the universal Lux conversion. I went thru and also watched many videos of Lux then Par...

Can 700 watts of LED strips grow trees???

Yeah, I like mine too, thanks to BGT,lol.. Very useful. something else for ya guys. If you take a Lux meter, and drill a hole in the cap, size 3/16, you can get pretty close to the PAR your lights are throwin off.

    Strips vs COBs

Diffuse as a Unit. One large piece of Greenhouse panel if in a tent, i would say. I think, the old Mono LEDs with Lenses, with a large Panel con-caved over the entire grow would be something to wonder the benefits, because like said, the spectrum is so much smoother and indirect. But to get the...

    Slow growth

I would say photo too, because you can mainline, lst, crop, small scrog, get a nice haul if you veg-manipulate the heck out of it for 45 days or so. Keep defoliating, keep toppin, Flip, defol again at 15 days, then dont touch her till harvest.

    Slow growth

Hold it right above your plant, almost touching, and what does it say? hit the X100 button, and read the numbers. If it says 230, then add 2 zeros to it, so it really says 23,000lux,

    Slow growth

In the grow world, PAR ( Photosynthetic Active Radiation ) which is a measurement of light power between 400nm and 700nm and it is used to give an indication of the power of light present that is used by plants for growth. So, the lower the PAR number, the lower expectations of growth and...

    Slow growth

but it is a very weak light. I think PAR was like 220 at 18 inches. Mars300 is 315 par at 18 inches, so if that tells ya anything, lol..

    The far red thread

They say 730nm cancels out 660, and 660 cancels out 730. So id imagine, for the most benefits from it, Its either or. So using a incandescent bulb, which has both, would do nothing.? Thats what i gathered from it. The plant senses a LEVEL of hormones of both p and pr, night lengths give it...

    The far red thread

so what happens if you use 730nm in veg? Does it just knock out the plant, and start nighttime process instantly? Im going to use 17 on/ 7 off. But if FR cuts 2 hours, its really 17on/9 off. just wondering what benefit in Veg. going thru this thread to find if anyone has mentioned already...

Can 700 watts of LED strips grow trees???

BillyPilgram asked: Do you think the side lighting is worth it? When I say that I mean, when you compare yours to other same strain grows, are you seeing more side weight / buds? looks like it so far, I cant imagine it being detrimental
